I agree with the sentiment that Chandler, as a primary target, is untenable. However, Crabbe + #11 for Chandler + #2 makes some sense. Chander makes bank ($13M) this year, and for 2 years afterward making him dead wood on their salary cap.
How a guy can be criticized as "damning" evidence for something he didn't actually do is beyond me, especially since we have no details at all.
Well, deciding to pursue a player is an action, which he could be criticized for as a reflection of his evaluation skill. I agree, though, that more details would be needed for it to be "damning."
I really hope we get Okafor if we can't get Butler or PG. He's young, we need another talented big (1 isn't enough) and worst case scenario - the Bulls like him so maybe we can trade for Butler. Getting Chandler would be depressing, like another pathetic attempt to get a Marcus Camby so we can get the 8th seed.
Apparently Portland trying to grab Noel from Philly before Indy talks intensify for Okafor. Can you verify this, pup?
no chit, especially now that they have Tiago Splitter! Is Embid even playing or is he out for a while again?
and count on Embid? that guy has a problem stayin healthy, be ironic if they trade bot C's and Embid goes down again
I've been told Portland continues to have talks with Philly but they can't verify whom is the target. Which would you prefer?
Well, you ARE the guy who was saying that unsubstantiated rumors about players that Neil may, or may not have been interested in, would damage his reputation.
