    I have finished writing my book, 'The Black Elephant' which is a collection of poetry about coming to terms with the deaths of my brother and father, and about the concept of death itself. I have been showing my manuscript to several close friends who urged me to get it published, and I have decided to do so. Wish me luck.

    I love to write....have written hundreds of poems a novel and novella and a non fiction book on musicology that are all unpublished....I'll get around to it one day but until then they all go in the time capsule

    I already have one book published. Its on Amazon. Ten Till Midnight, a collection of horror stories. I have written many short stories and poems, and 1 novella that is sitting in my desk drawer gathering dust

    I like short stories more than novels....to me Hemingway's short stories were way better than most of his novels....Raymond Carver was a master of the short story

    I like short stories as well. I'll start to write novels and end up with short stories. Cathedral is my favorite of Carver's Stories
