Of all the big men, besides dirk, who do you think is the best shooter? Some that I think of are yao, gasol, bosh, and okur.
If you guys are gonna count Brand and Jamison, at 6'8 and 6'9, then how about Mike Miller and Jason Kapono(both are 6'8).Anyways...Okur, Troy Murphy, Sheed, Rashard Lewis is 6'10, there is a ton.Old School...Rik Smits. He was 7'4.
Wow for somereason derrick coleman poped into my head! lol, even though he isn't playing pro ball anymore.
Ima say Okur and Gasol....Gasol cant hit the 3 consistantly, but I hardly ever see him miss a jumper....
Rashard Lewis is a great shooter- not exactly a pretty shot but solid. And Okur springs to mind. He is freaking ugly though- makes me wonder is there a direct connection to a big mans shooting ability and his looks? I mean Dirk and OKUR are freaking disgusting looking -and are great shooters - Shaq and Dampier are ordinary shooters but DAM they are handsome roosters!

Just because they are tall doesn't mean they are big men. Shard is strictly a 3 and Miller/Kapono are swingmen. Big man = PF or C. Another guy I want to add to the list is a guy that doesn't play much anymore, but he's still VERY worthy of being on the list: Raef LaFrentz! Others Unmentioned Kevin Garnett Mark Blount (I hate the guy, but his jumper is wet and consistent) Zydrunas Ilgauskas Jorge Garbajosa Austin Croshere And Antonio McDyess' mid-range jumper is automatic.
I think one of the best are Chris Webber, even in Philli, he was still shooting close to 40% from 3 and from the field. In detroit, he is shooting a startling 57% from the field and 50% from 3. On the season, he is averaging around 45% for both. Now statistics arent everything, but I really thing Chris Webber is an example of a good shooting big men. He is one of the big men that really heavily on their respective jump shot. Chris Bosh, Pau Gasol, KG, Boozer, all have their post play/drive to back them up. Chris Webber is one of the few that shoot the ball constantly, and In detroit, he has been draining them with a high percentage to boot.

Yeah, I was going to say Brad Miller and Mehmed Okur. Brad Miller was fire from mid range. Okur is just a beast this season banging thoes 3's. I'm just shocked he's that good at them. I'm pretty sure he's leading C's in 3's right? Jazz got themselves a good future if they keep Okur and wait till Boozer comes back.

There's lots of big men that can shoot that mid range and 3 point now adays. Rasheed, Bargnani, Bosh, KG, Kristic etc. They can all shoot and it makes other big men come out to guard them.
I would have to go with Okur he can stroke it from long range and can also hit mid range jumpers too.
