I went to a Seether concert here 5-6 years ago and the lower level was reserved for people from the world series of rock paper scissors.

All Meyers needs is someone to tell him what to do, and someone to pump him up like gas balloon. When he deflates you bring him back to bench and do it again.

    Personally I would define 19 pts @ 43.8%, 5 reb, 11 ast, 2 blk as "on".

Dame had a good game. And 7-16 is not that bad. But if that is line from our leading scorer...then we won't win. My point is that you can't expect Dame to carry us every game. You have to have someone else carry the load when he can't. Which is why I do not subscribe to the trade CJ theory because he is a "duplication". We need both because you can't rely on either of them to be hot every night.

I swear my favorite play in our playbook is "post up Nurk and get the fuck out of his way." Look how easy he gets to his spot against a guy that's evidently the same size (1:42.) We need to let him do it more.

How about the shot off the glass with the left hand? Having that in his arsenal makes him a really hard cover in the post.

He's got a soft touch. Is there really anything he hasn't shown he can do? His screens are awesome, and he does a great job of keeping his feet set and not leaning. Also has a great feel for when to roll. Underrated skill.

The only thing he really needs to work on is his conditioning but that can only come with playing time. I don't remember him playing 30+ minutes too much when he was actually in Denvers rotation, even when he was starting as a rookie. And of course he's never had this big of a role with as much responsibility either. It's all new to him and look how he's playing regardless.

A center shooting 70% from the free throw line doesn't concern me. And I know his career % is closer to 60% but he was a 80% free throw shooter in Europe so I think a lot of his struggles so far have to do with the lack of rhythm due to inconsistent playing time. I agree through, conditioning plays into it as well. For example i saw him hit the line couple times tonight absolutely gassed and wasn't surprised when he missed.

He's got nice form though so no reason for him to not be better. I agree

Nurk should play between 30-32 minutes a game. Yes he need more conditioning but seems he is able to handle. When player get tired and continue to play it is easier for a player to get injury.

Lately when Nurk subs out I just fast forward to the next point he re-enters the game. On the plus side I don't have to watch Meyers, but on the downside I've kind of missed out on a lot of Aminu's great work lately.

Remember that En Vogue song where a guy says "and now it's time for the breakdown"

I want someone to change it to nurkdown.

Lately i'm not even angry anymore, I just laugh at the dumb shit he does and shake my head in amazement.

I think we get it now

I know we all said it after his first game, but it bears repeating now that it's clearly not a fluke: Nurk is the best big we've had (C or PF) since Sabonis, and it's not even close.

Actually last might was Lin's worst shooting percentage since he came back. The problem was/is the three balls that the team as a whole has a tendency to give up. Lin was 2-7 inside the line.
