Re: Gerald won it! If you missed it and want to see his 2 best dunks, look at my avy. But way to go Gerald Green!!! That Dee Brown dunk was nice and the off the side of the glass was pretty solid as well. The 3rd dunk (the lob from Pierce over the shot clock) could have been nice but the finish was plain. The last dunk, I thought Gerald should have busted out a banger, but the windmill over the table wasn't that bad. But congrats to Gerald! We needed some excitement.
Re: Gerald won it! One thing I loved about his dunks is how incredibly smooth and fluid they looked. Especially the first one off the side. Creative, tough, smooth. The windmill rotation on that one may have been perfect.

People are right though, he should have ended it with a big one. We all know he can do some incredible stuff, and he can do better than what he did tonight. I find it funny that his 3rd best dunk was the only one that got a 50.
Re: Gerald won it! Can't wait to see what the kid is going to bust out next year, IMO its a good thing he didn't go HUGE on his last one, so he can save it for next year.
Re: Gerald won it! Yeah, they were awesome and the one off the side of the backboard was fresh and new. Well done GGreen!
Re: Gerald won it! Gerald winning finally gives Celtics fans something cheer about this season other then just injuries killing this team. Ya the Gerald Green dunks were creative. Liked how Pierce brought out a life size Nate Cut out and then both nate and pierce were just laughing about it and then Nate's decides he should be there.
Re: Gerald won it! whoo, good thing he won, because I wouldve lost $50. I was surprised how he got a 10 from every judge on that last dunk though. The first one was way better. MJ, was a tough judge to please.
Re: Gerald won it! This match wasnt even close. Gerald pretty much took the show. Overall, I actually thought that it was a pretty boring dunk contest, but Gerald did pretty well. Anybody else think Dwights dunk where he touched 12 and 1/2 was underrated by the judges?

I personally would have given that a 10 because it was creative, fresh, something we have never seen before, and come on... 12'6''??? That only nets a 42 score? That's such bullsh**.
Re: Gerald won it! Everyone pretty much knew that Gerald was going to win. I don't think his dunks where that exciting, if he had better competition, he would of pulled off a better dunk. But Congrats GREEN!
Re: Gerald won it! Congrats Gerald. But it was a pretty boring contest. The only dunk that I thought was really cool was Gerald's first off the side of the rim dunk....I couldn't understand why his windmill got a 50. Yeah, it was really nice. But it was only a windmill. Havn't we seen that before? The NBA did a terrible job of picking suitable contestants. Gerald was the clear winner because everyone else sucked. They should have picked Rudy Gay and.....idk who else....but not Dwight Howard.
Re: Gerald won it! His first dunk was probably his best, lol..what I liked was he did all his on the first try, so he deserved this one. Dunk contest was far from exciting, though.

Gerald Green did look so smooth on his dunks, I really liked that Dee Brown oldie dunk especially over Nate.
Re: Gerald won it! His sticker dunk is overrated. He got up high, yeah. I already know he could get up there. His actual dunk wasnt that great.
Re: Gerald won it! ^ The thing that's everyone is crazy about this dunk is that he had to stick the sticker at the top of the backboard and then concentrate on following up the dunk on the pass that Nelson threw to him. Rudy Gay would've given Gerald a run for his money.. same with James White. http://youtube.com/watch?v=pA4L-_Wic78

He got a lower score for that than he got for his windmill, and that makes no sense at all.
Re: Gerald won it! Dwight's sticker dunk deserves more than what he got, w/e it is. Monta Ellis was pretty damn nice during the rook/soph game. I don't watch enough GSW games, but is he that good during the reg season? They could've invited him. Rudy gay was great as well.
