Bullshit. Mexico has actively dumped their own criminals at the border so they can blend into the flow of illegals into the US for decades. They have been actively assisting Central and South Americans to pass through their country to ours for decades.

This is absolutely not true...largest number of illegal Hispanics to make it across the border have been non Mexicans...we brought their criminals stateside...el Chapo...Noreiga...don't confuse the Mexican govt with cartels...most people smuggling truck drivers are actually americans.

This is absolutely true. The Mexican government regularly empties their jails of criminals and vagrants into the desert just south of the border. And they offer aid, assistance, and sometimes even border-to-border transportation to non-Mexicans.

Guys like El Chapo and Noriega are irrelevant to the discussion, they're far too high-profile to be released for emigration.

Please give me some research I can read. I searched but found nothing but a lot of anecdotal stories and so-called "news" articles, from questionable outlets.

    Nope, mostly Mexicans:
In 2014, more than 11.7 million Mexican immigrants resided in the United States, accounting for 28 percent of the 42.4 million foreign-born population—by far the largest immigrant origin group in the country.Mar 17, 2016

To prove how truly worthless these people are to ANY country, their own government has made videos instructing them how to "never come home" to Mexico. They are not wanted back by Mexico, ever! Good Riddance!

"Backfiring" is when the dead bodies of illegal immigrants you allow into Mexico start piling up on the Mexico side of the wall. Then the survivors cause the collapse of your already inadequate social services. Trump's wall will of course accomplish everything he promised, and Mexico will go from a struggling third world country to a failed state possibly requiring intervention and occupation by our military.

    you have fake news
For the first time since detailed records began being kept in 1992, undocumented immigrants from Mexico made up less than half of those apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
More Central Americans were caught crossing into the United States illegally than Mexicans, according to statistics released Friday by the Department of Homeland Security.
While Mexicans made up the single largest nationality apprehended by CBP, the combined number of Hondurans, El Salvadorans and Guatemalans apprehended was even larger.

    Wrong.

The figures you cite only account for the stupidest illegals, the ones we caught. While not smart or industrious enough as a people to create and run a legitimate country that functions in a safe and productive manner, Mexicans have had decades of practice and unlimited second chances to learn how to sneak into America for handouts. We only catch a small percentage of them compared to their less talented counterparts to the south.

there are multiple sources that completely disagree with your take...I disagree...I don't call people I don't know stupid.....2 year old refugees with moms running away from a village slaughter in Nicaraugua aren't supposed to be El Chapo......and even more importantly, let's address how easily and unimpeded our criminals have run away to Mexico to excape the law at home? For a couple centuries actually...but hey...I guess our bad guys are ok down there

Most of the cartel heads have recently been imprisoned down there...now there's chaos as the next warlords try to replace them....they have lost a lot of their former power and Mexico has made a lot of progress...I have nothing but support for their efforts. Don't know why you hold the Mexican govt in such contempt but I think it may cloud your judgement over the circumstances
