Game Thread Yankees vs. Braves Thursday 3/9/17 1:05 pm

This game is not on MLB Network, I think it might be on the Radio.

Gardner homered in the 1st and Pinhead gave it right back. 2-1 Atlanta leads going into the 2nd.

 

Pineda's line: 3.0 innings 3 hits 2 runs 1 strikeout, Atlanta still up 2-1 top of the 6th.

 

Pineda stunk up the game again, what else is new. Yanks now with six runs.

 

Baby Bombers take care of biz.... Yankees 7 Atlanta 2 bottom of the 6th with our pal Chasen Shreve pitching.

 

That Gas Can Shreve gives up a 3 run bomb, 8-5 Yankees. I don't understand why Girardi keeps putting in that piece of Shit.

 

...last year during ST I thought Shreve was gonna be something...so much for that.

 

Final Yankees 8 Braves 5.

 

ESPN has the final as 8-7. Guess I must have missed something.

 

...lemme see, Shreve comes in and gives up 3 runs but gets the win...Gurka comes in and gives up 2 runs but gets the "save".

...Rick would have a field day with that...and Lil, I was trying to figure out the same thing...I was going by the box score.

It wasn't on the radio so I was watching the play by play on ESPN and I only counted 5 runs. What do you expect from ESPN.
