:reading:BLAZERS' OFFICIAL GAME NOTES
• Thursday marks the second and final regular season matchup between the Trail Blazers and 76ers in 2016-17.

• LAST MEETING: Philadelphia defeated Portland, 93-92, at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 20. Robert Covington made a game-winning 3-point field goal with 4.5 remaining.

• In that game, Damian Lillard scored a game-high 30 points, while Philadelphia’s Ersan Ilyasova scored a team-high 24 points (9-14 FG, 5-6 3-PT) for the 76ers.

• Portland is 5-1 at home against Philadelphia since the start of the 2010-11 season.

• With a win, the 76ers would sweep the Trail Blazers for the first time since the 2008-09 season.

• Damian Lillard’s 30-point performance at Philadelphia on Jan. 20 marked his first game of 30+ points in nine career games against the 76ers.

• Damian Lillard’s 15.0 ppg average in two games against the 76ers last season represents his lowest scoring average among all NBA teams in 2015-16.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: 76ers lead, 57-51
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 34-21
AT THE 76ers: 76ers lead, 36-17

Be consistent. You're doing good so far, Blazers.

If we do end up making the playoffs, I have an inkling that we will really miss Ed Davis. Seeing him on the injury report just doesn't feel right. That extra depth down low would definitely be helpful vs. GS or SA.

We are in trouble if Nurkic gets in foul trouble. Losing Ed will hurt us if we make the playoffs for sure. I would expect NO to bring in another big.

Would a street free agent be playoff eligible? Not like stotts would play him anyway.

Optimism Post:
7 games behind OKC
20 games left in season
Need to win 14 of 20 to get to .500.

Alaa Abdelnaby is a reporter or commentator for the sixers. I really wanted to meet him pregame but I am not gonna make the game.

We can't take this game lightly. Henderson is back in town.

Alaa Abdelnaby would have been a much better hire than Hurd.

Still one of the funniest things I've heard is when someone asked him about Duke's academic standards, and he said "The only way I could make 5 A's in college was to spell my name"

Pay attention to my guy Saric tonight. He and Julius Randle are my guys to consider as PFotF

Ha that is wishful thinking. I am pretty sure they love the idea of a Saric., Embiid, Simmons front court. Or at least they should be.

We need to win this one FAMS!!! (I'm doing it right?)
It's a game we should win but we shouldn't come to this overconfident and slip (or sleep) on this one, gotta make this a W and keep rolling

Exactly they're the type that would deal saric for more picks.

I don't think Bryan Colangelo is that stupid. The prior regime made some bad picks, some of which were because of the lotteries they were in. But nonetheless I think he has identified their core young players and are moving the rest as they come up for their next contract. Saric is a rookie. He is not going anywhere.

You would think that Noel would have brought back more.......but apparently not that much more.

Denver lost yesterday. Because that this game is so much important! Lets go blazers
