This one IS on MLB Network, I will post the information as it becomes available. We are getting snow in New York tomorrow and watching the games in Florida really pisses me off, but I love NY so I will deal with it. :bgrin:

...lol...Frazier cut his hair off...wonder if he thinks that will give him a better chance of making the starting day roster?

Saw a picture of Frazier when he arrived in camp, wondered how long he'd get away with that haircut. Yanks up 5 zip, Judge with a bomb Court's in Session. Shocked seeing Head Case do a three run bomb. OK Yankees best spring we've seen in a long time. Girardi is going to have to make some close choices going north, damn fine position to be in. Best of fortunes to Girardi this season, he damn well deserves it, a team of his choice.

...^^^ I replayed that HR by Judge 2 or 3 times...that SOB is so strong...he hit that pitch way out on the end of the bat, and it still went out of the park.

    ...5-0...good guys win.

Phillies left 17 runners on base. Yankees beat them, 5-0 on two key HRs. That's Spring Training.

^^^^ good game, kudos to Jones. I didn't know until last night, this ***mickey mouse rule existed in the WBC. (hope to hell nothing like this ever comes close to our hallowed MLB).
***OT- games, will begin the 11th inning, with men on 2nd and 1st base, and every inning thereafter.... dumb, dumb, dumb, this isn't college football, or an NHL shootout...

I watched Italy vs Mexico last night. Finally got to see Pat Venditte pitch both Rh'd and Lh'd; all in the same inning. Got to see live, what I've only seen in videos.

I doubt Venditte will see the Majors for long, if he makes it at all. If he catches on with the M's, (and I doubt it) after being dumped by the Yanx, and A's, and Jays.

Venditte's got zero velocity, approx: 84-86, 87 max mph from the left side. Changed to a sidearm rh delivery, (his predominate arm) after surgery a few yrs back, now throws approx 80-83 mph Rh'd. wtf- ?!
He's no Maddux or Glavine, and has no fastball to speak of. Had trouble framing the plate, gave up 3 hits, 3 earned runs, 1 bb's, and K'd one. Started off the 4th inning, loaded the bases, and allowed the go ahead run to score. We won't be seeing Pat in MLB, my bet.

Then wtf- just when I was almost asleep, Cervelli led off the 9-th with a double, and began a 5 run comeback win, by Italy over Mexico. Weak line-ups, joke of a ST Interruption????? The WBC, will be the only exposure some of these kids will ever see in their careers.

Read an article on Cano & Cruz being "proud" to play for the Dominican Team. That being the case why did they not stay and play ball in that country, oh shit I guess MLB pay is better. Real crock of shit, come to the US and get the big bucks, coulcn't have been too great in the Dominican since you chose to exit playing baseball.

    ^^^^^ bingo, that's it...

    high risk, low reward.

Only real reward is for those players who will never see another national stage, and won't go on to find a home in MLB.

    ntm- dumb rules, dumber concept.
Pitcher's, players throwing harder earlier. What's that going to do in rubber arm September for players who were in the WBC (too early playing for keeps); who may find themselves in a PS run- ???? No gas left...?

Player's risk injury, and their team takes the hit for their WBC follies. As of now, still not sure if Salvador Perez's knee is intact or not....?

I have never cared for its impeding upon hallowed ST Team time, and feel a player belongs with his team, not the WBC. If a player is not on his teams Roster, then maybe play in the WBC, maybe.
