Fuck. It's just another loss to me. But what is REALLY worrying to me are the calls on Nurkic. All the fouls and the traveling call late in the game.... Our defense is garbage, but if we want any hope of making the playoffs they have to give him some leeway.
Man forget the 5 fouls called on him (of which at least two were questionable at best) how about on the other end? Dude was clobbered at least twice shooting the ball and nothing was called. I don't want to cry about those too much because those ARE judgement calls, but man, I'm not even going to pretend that was an evenly officiated game.

Well, I'm just concerned about his style of play lending itself to egregious calls the refs can make. If they can take him out early, our going for the playoffs becomes a mute point. We are playing teams with a remaining SOS at .485, we should be in EVERY GAME. Nurkic constantly being in foul trouble fucks that up royally.
The one from Wall on Dame was deemed a CNC. Takes that out of the equation. INC on Morris. Shit, you lose games. Oh well, on to the next. In 3 hours. Be like a MLB closer - have a short memory.
in the report it looked as though gortat should have been whistled for 8 freakin' fouls in the last 2 minutes alone!
thought id tune in to say fuck NBA refs. im just waiting for NBA players to start talking on the mic about how they slept with the other guys wife and them calling that basketball. the NBA is so pathetically close to WWE it's god damn ridiculous.
What a fucking joke. The non-call on the 3 seconds.... Nurk has a foot out of the key and Gortat is not all that far from him. If that's an incorrect call, they need to call 3 second about 50 times per game. And Nurk's double dribble? They neglect to point out any defensive fouls against WA on Dame and Nurk. I'm pretty sure that report is tainted to overshadow the glaring f'd up missed call by two refs on WA's last possession (with two refs within six feet of the action). Damn, NBA. Just own it. You'd at least keep me watching. With every ending like this, I continue to watch fewer and fewer games.
The report only pisses me off more. I was pretty in the "Blazers blew the lead and the game corner." The report felt like a BS cover-up. My time watching NBA games will continue to shrink.
with 10 secs left in OT....one of those calls had more impact than the others..I think that's the point....that and Scott Foster isn't Portland's best friend anyway
