Knicks fans have become the equivalent of that kid with the "kick me" sign on the back. I will agree with you, they used to be rude, obnoxious and self centered. Now they just follow the Rangers and wait for spring baseball. I think Dolan has sucked the life out of them.
If i see he is being mocked for saying something normalish. If he goes to a Spurs forum and says their team is trash, he's on his own
So then, you'd have no problem providing links to examples of where you've defended Eric in other forums? Please share them. BNM
I dont go to them. Why so combative? Is life at home or work that rough? If i saw it, i would. Pretty simple
There is an obvious disconnect here that has nothing to do with my home or work life (but thanks you for you Dolan-like concern). You see, when I asked you why it was OK for you to mock Eric for his passion, but not OK for him to mock another fan base for theirs, I was speaking about reality. You know, things that actually happened. When you claimed you would defend Eric if he was mocked, you were dealing in hypotheticals. Things that never actually happened. Given your past history of mocking Eric and your problems with his enthusiasm for the team, I had a hard time ever picturing you defending him. So, I asked for examples. Obviously none exist (never actually happened). That's all. BNM
this one is pretty good. spurs fan talking about Manu... "If by "great" you mean fucking up everything, yes. Must make FT --> CLANK! Must miss FT --> GOOD! He's a piece of shit."
Some folks there think he's on the trading block this summer...mentioned Boston as a trading partner...they'd trade Aldridge for Horford in a heartbeat
Right. I used to think no one was this negative either. At least I have my sunny disposition to fall back on. I actually enjoy every Blazers win. Not just the unexpected ones over SAS. I always find plenty to be excited and happy about with this team. I guess that makes me a clueless homer, but at least I'm a happy, clueless homer. BNM
Im very happy. Healthy family, my health is goodish, great job, my chocolate lab loves me, people have all but stopped staring at my foster kids. Couldn't be happier. I want this team to win as much or more than anyone. It pisses me off when they don't, and then sludge through years of also ran finishes. I vent differently. When they play poorly, i complain. I dontsit back and think everything will be fine because it hasnt been
I don't complain much, because I realize nothing I write here will impact the success of the team one damn bit. Neil Olshey didn't go out and get Jusuf Nurkic because I said we needed more interior scoring and better defense. The team isn't going to start losing games because I want a higher draft pick. Regardless where they draft, they are aren't going to consider my input when making their selections (if they did Pritchard would have drafted Paul Millsap at 30 or 31 back in 2006 - I REALLY made a strong case for Millsap, but nobody listened). In the end, I am just along for the ride and I learned a long time ago not to get too upset over things I can't possibly control. So, I'm happy when they win and take it in stride when they don't. As passionate as I am about the Blazers, I realize there are more important things in life. BNM
This place would not be the same without MM or BNM. You both help to bring different viewpoints and if you weren't here this place would probably suck.
