Razorbacks and Pirates in a tight one. Gotta love these 8-9 matchups. Angel Delgado is one worth watching in this one. 6'9" PF who leads the nation in rebounding.
Hey @dviss1, if you get a chance to see it, I'd love to get your take on the foul call at the end of the Arkansas-Seton Hall game. The upshot is that with 18 seconds left, Arkansas inbounded the ball while up 1. A Seton Hall player, in an obvious foul-for-possession situation, came up and shoved the ball-handler from the left, and also unitentionally clipped the guy's left foot, tripping him and causing him to come down pretty hard. The refs originally called a common foul, but after review changed it to a flagrant 1, basically ending the game. The analyst just laid into the officiating crew, insisting that "you can't call that foul in that situation," not because of its impact on the game, but because they all knew a foul was coming, and the trip appeared to be incidental. So what's the resident ref's opinion? Is a shove/trip a flagrant foul no matter what, or does the game situation enter in?
Really surprised that USC is playing SMU so tough. They've come back from double-digit deficits multiple times in this game, and it looks like they're about to tie it up again. They say that a play-in game winner wins another game each tourney; I picked Kansas St over Cincy, but it might be USC this year.
I've had to work so I couldn't say anything when it happened but........ Seton Hall got shafted by the refs!!!!!!!! How can you call a travel on Seton Hall then on the very next play by Arkansas they travel but this time the refs don't call it and Seton Hall panics to foul and it turns into a Flagrant two shots and the ball back so Seton Hall has to foul again, so two more foul shots for Arkansas and that's game. There would have been no Flagrant foul if the refs had called that travel on Arkansas! I am pretty salty about this.
Damn USC won by 1 point? I saw SMU was up by double digits and thought that pick was safe. I have Baylor winning that one anyways. I think I only took usc on 2/10 brackets! So far my best bracket is 19/22. It has Zags, Nova, Michigan, UNC in final four. Zags over UNC 76-68 in the final
The Condefence of Champions! Bill Walton is is peaking on some LSD-25 right now, painting his face and hugging Douglas Firs in celebration!
I've been switching between UCLA and Kentucky. UCLA looks great Kentucky looks so-so Lonzo Ball might be the best passer going into the draft in the past 10 years.
