Is there really some guy who is 7'9 entering the draft? I'm hearing this a lot from people at my school.

Sun Ming Ming is pretty tall, he might be who your thinking of. He's going to be posterized a ton if he gets in the league.

Yeah, thats him. I heard this guy was a terrible player for his height. Doesn't really shoot the well, doesn't play defense.

Ya but he is still huge I saw a picture of him palming the ball it's incredible. He'll probabaly be like a Rasho Nesterovic tall but uncoordinated and slow.

He's tall, but he started playing basketball only a year or two ago, and is currently working with a coach to try and get him ready to play in the NBA. But, I think it's safe to say that if he ever does make it to the league, he isn't going to be anything but a Shawn Bradley.

I meant he'd be on the wrong side of a million posterizations.

I feel for Bradley. That guy is the butt end of jokes all the time but that's because of the expectations surrounding him. He really was a productive player in his career and I for one am a fan. His 15 footer was money.

Last I heard, Sun Ming Ming was playing in the ABA. I also heard that he has the skill level of the average 7th grader, or something to that effect. Like BCB said, he will never play in the NBA.

There's a 000.1 percent chance he's going to play in the NBA, though I have to say from what iv'e heard and seen that he is a very determined person to make it into the NBA still I doubt he will.

He will never make it to the NBA but please guys, stop bashing him.He works very hard on his game and the reason he is so tall is because of something that could also kill him if isn't careful. He is a solid player..but he has that problem.I agree though that he will never be able to make the NBA because of the intensity level. He is a nice guy, though.I saw a great special on him on TLC.

I'm not sure if this is true. But I heard he also has a brain tumor. I'm not too sure if its him though.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>A team is going to take a chance on him and select him</div>I highly doubt that. And if they do I think it would be a waste of a pick.

I just read about him in an article.

He's slow, uncoordinated, not really very athletic.. He's just a freak, and a big time project. I'd be suprised to ever see him ever play an NBA game.
