<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The New York Knicks could move to acquire Cleveland Cavaliers' power forward Drew Gooden, or possibly small forwards Ruben Patterson of the Milwaukee Bucks or Sacramento Kings' Ron Artest.A potential Gooden deal could include Knicks' forward Channing Frye and other players for salary cap purposes. Gooden would give the Knicks a rugged power forward who can guard big men.Patterson and Artest are intriguing, but the Knicks have two small forwards who are virtually impossible to move, Quentin Richardson and Jared Jefferies.Source: New York Daily News</div>I think this would be great. But Frye for Gooden? im not liking that. Frye has been struggling and has alot of potential. But Ron Artest to New York is going to be great. Born and raised in NY and went to St.Johns iits his hometown so hoping for Artest. He could get some more scoringa nd alot better permiter defese.

adding artest would only hurt the team more. the core of the knicks future is nate, frye, lee and curry. those 4 should be untouchable. nate can be traded but I think he's got so much talent and I love nate.

oh, nate has a ton of talent, it's just he makes too many bad decisions with the ball and obviously being about 5'7" really hurts him.

I like Nate but only cause he is 5'8 and he does all those things on the court you never see with someone for his size. Channing Frye to me is a big bust, the guy is 6'10 but has no big man muscle meaning he can't make enough rebounds and block shots to save his life.To me it is or it should be Marbury, Crawford, Curry and when healthy Q Rich, Lee I can see when he improves his game but other than that I see no good things coming from this team. the Knicks should only keep Robinson on the roster for slam dunk contests and to excite the fans when he does go in. Everybody else including Frye should be involved in trade talks and if we have to, I say put Crawford and Robinson in trade talks as well we gotta go after those players in the offseason no question.
