Where would you place Jason Kidd among the top point guards of all time? Against the likes of Magic, Big O and Payton for example. At 6'4, one of the top defensive guards in the league and one of the best passers of our time. Hes also a triple double machine, 3rd I believe behind Magic Johnson who is easily one of the most versatile players of all time. He was never known for his shooting but how well he would involve his teamates and his defensive play.So where does Kidd place on your list of the top Point Guards?
He was never a good scorer, but a very good all-around point guard. To me he is not better than those 3 or Stockton, but I think when his career is over he will be at #5. Unless I'm forgetting someone...
Somewhere in top 5. I'd put him ahead of the likes of Payton, but behind Big O and Magic, and maybe Stockton.
He would be somewhere in the top 5 alltiome. He is defenetly not better than Robertson, magic, Stockton and Payton, but he could defenetly measure up to teh rest and could sneak into teh top 5
I'd say he would be in my top 5 all time. I think stockton, magic, and robertson are better all time. I do believe, though, that he will be passed in the all time category by nash and probably even paul and williams.
1. Oscar Robertson 2. John Stockton/Magic Johnson 3. Jason Kidd/Gary Payton Stockton and Magic are so close I just lob them together...same with Kidd/Payton.

I'm going by what historians have said, Auerbach said Robertson was the the greatest player he'd ever watched and was terrified to have to go up against him...he has the numbers..and won one championship...It's not his fault he didn't have HOF's playing with him to get the titles Magic Johnson got...All these guys are so great I have a hard time ranking them....I think Magic/Stockton were better than Kidd/Payton so I put them together, and between Kidd/Payton it's pretty hard so I just lob them together....you can get into a stupid petty debate for a month over which one is better....I just make it simple.
