With CJ and Lillard a year or two away from their prime, I'd say both players are near untouchable. Well, unless you plan on trading both and going Philly rebuild style. Everyone else, for the right price could be had.
It will be interesting to see what Indiana gets for George. I doubt George would agree to any extension........ especially with the Lakers having cap space. The Lakers would be in excellent position for grabbing multiple FA's if they would not have wasted 34 million on two players who do not seem to be in their plans. I wonder if they try to dump Mozgov and Deng.
They wont get anything for him period./ They are in a no win situation because George has openly said he is becoming a Laker when FA hits. Lakers wont trade for him because he will sign freely. No one else will trade for him because he has let it be known he is going to LA one way or another. We need to take him off our radar at this point.
I agree, but has he actually said that? I know people all assume it, but I did not know George openly said it.
You know I read it here at one point and took it for face value. I should know better. Looks like he has not openly said it but the rumors are rampant. http://www.silverscreenandroll.com/...t-to-sign-long-term-with-the-lakers-or-pacers http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/n...on-lakers-pacers-could-scare-off-other-teams/
