^^^that could also be the opening day line up...(not necessarily in that order...and Hicks may start in place of Judge)
Sanchez & Bird have 2 hits each. Both are surrounded by vets in this lineup. Ellsbury batting fifth may just be a figment of Girardi's binder book!
Pineda continues to show the dependability of wet toilet paper. And jackass, can you wear your cap right u dickhead.
This team with their offense will be fun to watch this year. And if a couple of triple A guys can get up here and pitch well who knows.
Berances shits the bed..............his runners......2 hits in .0 innings. Holder not helping. Braves go ahead....
When Girardi says..........(Headley) is very important for us because he's a switch hitter. And his production at the plate is not a factor? Okay then.
The Yankees looked like the Bad News Bears at time. Really pissed with Pineda & Betances pitching Performances.
I'm not surprised. I mentioned a few days ago that it's fairly obvious that the starting pitching is where this team will struggle. Can't have the kids plus fix everything all at once. I'm happy they didn't go with a knee jerk reaction and start throwing money at second rate guys. Pineda will just always frustrate as long as he pitches. Million dollar arm with a one dollar head. Contract year and I doubt he will show much to anybody.
lmao- good call Mess. Looks like Pinhead hasn't learned how to finish off his game....his one goal this year, and he shits the bed. another classic example of Cashman's over reaching, over paying, over extending for a kid who's not really shown us shit in his entire career. Another 7.4 mil $$ contract that would look even more absurd seeing him where he belongs, either in the Minors (too expensive a contract) or find a team desperate enough to pick him up for a grab bag in return. I'd say the kidz did throw $$$ at a 4-5th rate guy. I hope they comprehend obtaining; then over paying players like Pinhead, should be a lesson in futility ie: not picking up kidz for their potential alone, a grab bag tumbling dice move to begin with. they've handcuffed themselves with Pinheads last year in the Bronx, imo. Unless they think a sub-par performer is good enough for this year, to carry a season for a young team that needs a SP staff that can throw more than 5 innings a game. CC, Pinhead, are deflater's for any young team trying to find their way. In other words (as several like yourself have pointed out well)- this team needs solid pitching more than anything; bring in the clowns. I don't see how Pinhead's gonna' fare any better once the season begins; always a failure to close out his own game(s). Yep, I'd take a grab bag for Pinhead if he can't pull his head out after 3 starts, end of a kid who can't fit his head on straight, or was that his cap.
