Its 3:06 already and here is the deals that went downFebruary 13Charlotte traded forward Melvin Ely to San Antonio for forward Eric Williams and a 2009 second-round pick.Houston traded forward Scott Padgett to Memphis for center Iakovos Tsakalidis.February 22Dallas traded guard Anthony Johnson to Atlanta for a second-round pick.Toronto traded guard Fred Jones to Portland for guard Juan Dixon.wow this year sucked.
I'm kinda disappointed with the Pistons. Look at how cheap Dixon and Johnson went. Nazr/Davis and Flip could have gotten something much better. Now we are stuck with old man Lindsey running the backup point.Ugh. Worst deadline ever.
Yeah the Pistons could've made some good moves and improved our bench - for the Pistons I like Nazr, and Davis, but I think flip is useless. We should have found a way to get rid of Flip...I'm not gonna get all angry about it - its just disappointing.
Worst deadline ever? Last year was worst. Last year had like only one deal which had Watson going to Seattle. This year did suck though, I expected to see some big trades.
Yeah when I said this deadline sucked, someone asks whats up my ass? bottom line is the nba overdoes it with these ridiculous trade rumors. more often then not they never happen or even true. this year there were so many big names on the block, I think the most in a long time. not one good player was traded, kidd, gasol, carter, bibby and gordon. instead williams, jones, fatslobalidis, ely, dixon, padgett and johnson. very disappointing. trades that no one really gives a sh*t about even if your team was involved.
Sure, it's a little disappointing that nothing bigger happened today, but think of it this way: this summer could potentially be the motherload of all off-seasons.
Pretty dissapointing deadline. The biggest trade was Fred Jones for Juan Dixon. Are you f*cking kidding me? I know AI already got traded, but the deadline sucked ass. I was hoping Kidd, VC or maybe Corey Maggette would get traded. Something..
You made this post 6 minutes after the deadline. That doesn't mean every is done. Its still 25 minutes passed the deadline. Sutff still could be releasedJust cause no superstar trade happen means the deadline sucks. Its not a requirement
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Yeah when I said this deadline sucked, someone asks whats up my ass?</div>That would be me and you were basically ranting because no trades had been. Who gives a sh*t really, the only big name that seemed to be a possibility was Jason Kidd. And that died, but like I said in the other thread, quit buying into rumors and getting hyped up. This happens every year and by now you should realize teams stand pat more often than not. And rumors rarely come true.

I think jake tsakalidas is gonna really do well..................
I'm agreeing with CelticBalla and I think that this upcoming offseason should be really great. Nice free agents coming up and a very nice excellent draft class as well. I cant wait.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>This f*cking sucks!!!I want Bibby so bad, I just knew Ferry couldn't get sh*t done. Ugh, dam.</div>A Bibby deal needed more than two teams to tango and that's why it didn't get done. Don't blame Ferry.
This is why I don't follow trade rumors. You guys eat all that crap up while nothing ever happens, how many times have I said it... All that Kidd, Carter, Maggette and KG crap...Hoopshype/RealGM, I just ignore all of it.
I'm the only one who could care less for the trade deadline. I feel like I'm the only one (now I see BCB is with me) that doesn't expect the big deals to go down, and only expects these small roster tweaking deals to go down.
All those websites do is feed fans BS. They find some rumor with no source, throw it on the website and 10,000 forum nerds post it on their forums...and the chatter begins.
<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">No spectacular trade occurred whatsoever. I hate these trade rumors... They're nonsense! Some trade rumors get people all hyped up for an actual trade to take place, but in the long run, nothing happens. I also agree with BCB.</span>
My favorite trade of all time: Philly trades Alan Henderson to Utah for right to swap 2007 2nd round draft picks. What was the purpose of this deal anyways? Utah is expected to cut Henderson (his contract expires at the end of the season) per realgm and Philly has no use swapping 2nd rounders with Utah as they will hold the better of the 2 picks regardless.
Utah gets to swap picks with Philly, which will actually be New Yorks pick the Sixers got from Chicago. so the Jazz should move from 57th pick to around 40th.
