    I am impressed by our team this season, but we need to have Nurkic completely healthy for next season. Shut him down for the rest of this season and get him ready for next year.

    That's just another example of a 4 week healing time, which would mean Nurk would probably miss the playoffs. We'll be swept without him. May as well tank now. Fuck...how many times are we going to flip flop between tanking and wanting to make the playoffs?

    Who said it'll be 4 weeks though? Press release says he'll be reevaluated in two. Capelas press release said he'd be reevaluated in four and he was playing that same week. My guess is Capelas injury was not a non displaced fracture.

    Re-evaluated, not return. Another poster found other examples of this injury and they were all out around 4 weeks. It's dangerous to rush back too soon.

    This should make it crystal clear. NOBODY EVER EVER EVER SAY THE K WORD WHEN TALKING ABOUT A CENTER ON THIS TEAM!!!!!!

    A couple of you said that word when you 'hoped' nothing would happen to Nurk's *****. Don't do that anymore. No more saying it to be funny, No more saying knock on wood after saying that curse word. Don't fucking say it!!!!!

    Utterance of that word should be a ban able offence of 1 year. I am serious about this. @SlyPokerDog, @DennyCrane.

    I am livid right now.

    I am not that bummed........yet.

    If it is minor and the worst case scenario is we miss the playoffs this year, that is not that bad. With Nurk we were winning one game at the most against the Warriors. Either way I am still excited about the future.

    If the injury is somehow worse than it sounds, well then I will freak. But for now we can lose and still head into the off season feeling good about the team.

    Either way they need to shut him down for the season

    Right, but there are different types of fractures, and in Capelas case I couldn't find anything that suggested it was a non displaced one. I guess we'll find out.

    I don't see what the big deal is. They'll re-evaluate in 2 weeks then we'll go from there. We are not winning the championship this year. Even with Nurk.

    This is about next year and beyond. Who gives a damn. We have a center of the future that's all it matters

    The best case scenario is that we miss the playoffs and get a higher lotto pick. Because there's a good chance we won't have Nurk for the playoffs even if we do make it. But now, it's very unlikely that we miss the playoffs even with his injury.

    We will make playoffs. Hopefully, we don't start playoffs til Sunday and then game 2 isn't til like Wednesday. He could easily be back by then. I'm not too worried. He won't miss the whole series. First game at home isn't til like 3 weeks from now.
