<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Heat guard Dwyane Wade is back in Miami receiving treatment on the dislocated left shoulder he injured late in Wednesday night's loss in Houston.Wade flew back to Miami after last night's game and met with Heat physician Dr. Harlan Selesnick this morning to undergo a second round of MRI tests at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables. Initial tests taken in Houston revealed a dislocation, team officials said. Results of the second round of tests are not yet known.Wade sustained the injury when he attempted to steal the ball away from Rockets forward Shane Battier as Battier was driving to the basket. Wade immediately left the game and was taken to the locker room in a wheelchair. He was later treated at a Houston-area hospital. The team flew on to Dallas after the game and will face the Mavericks tonight. Wade is expected to be out for some time with the injury. Heat guard Eddie Jones sustained a similar injury in 2001 and missed 15 games.Wade, the NBA's fourth-leading scorer, has already missed seven games this season with injuries. He missed four with a sprained right wrist and three after having wisdom teeth extracted. Wade's shoulder is the latest in a line of devastating injuries for the Heat.Center Shaquille O'Neal has missed 39 games this season with knee and calf injuries, and guard Jason Williams has missed 20 with knee, ankle and abdominal injuries. Heat coach Pat Riley had just returned to the bench Wednesday after missing 22 games to having knee surgery and a hip replacement.</div>This REALLY, REALLY sucks for the Heat. This is just after they are starting to get rolling. Their offense is NOTHING without Wade. Ouch, this hurts.

It does suck... and pretty much ends all chances of them repeating this year, even though the chances of that happening were already pretty slim in my opinion.I saw this happen, and he was basically crying when they were taking a look at it. A dislocated shoulder is painful, but crying? Didn't expect that...especially since the media makes him out to be such a tough guy.

Well with all the slashing and driving he does, an injury was bound to happen at some point, so I can't say that I'm surprised. But this sucks for the Heat. They're definitely going to be having some trouble without him.

There are only 30 or so games left, Wade's out around half of those games...it's going to be rough for the Heat...this is why you don't coast through the first half of the season and do what Shaq does, now they could possibly miss the playoffs. This for me, is the downfall of the Heat...Shaq/Wade eat up most of the salary cap, they don't have great young talent, much of their rotation is average, Shaq is winding down...

This really sucks for the Heat. They are going to be terrible while he is gone, and this is really going to give them a run for their money in order to make the playoffs. Dorrell Wright is going to have to play huge while he is gone, and Kapono is going to have to step up as well. This is really bad news for them....I dont know if they can overcome it if he is out 15 games.

The silver lining is the fact that the Eastern Conference sucks my dick. If the Heat can at least maintain a .500 record in Wade's absense, they should still have a good playoff shot. However, in the worst case scenario, they could potentially fall out of the playoffs. Imagine a team with Shaquille O'neal missing the playoffs.

This really blows for Miami... they are going to have to get more out of Shaq now and come together as a team. But at the same time I can't say that I'm sad about this.

The Heat should make a run for Oden now. No way they are going to win the championship so might as well try to get in the lottery.

Dwayne Wade is contemplating going through season ending shoulder surgery to repair his dislocated shoulder. If this happens - you can kiss any hopes of going far in the playoffs; or even getting in the playoffs good bye. This season, for the Heat was a huge failure.

No, do not get surgery Dwyane. This is our last season with a shot at a title. He'll have plenty of time in the upcoming seasons while Shaq is on his way out and we're rebuilding. Unless, he really has no choice, I would be extremely upset if he chooses to get surgery.
