It is painful to watch him. He puts so much pressure on himself that if he gets scored on or misses a shot, he gets in his head even more and implodes.

WTF happened to this guy? This was his rookie year!

Usually, highlight packages for a player make one hopeful, optimistic. That just makes me sad.

Wow! If he was playing like this, his salary would be more than justified.

Yeah, I agree....what the fuck happened to this guy?!

He scored a bunch of points in garbage time if I recall (look at the score). Remember Jake Layman's big explosion early in the season? Wanna bet that never happens again?

Who cares if it was garbage time? Look at the confidence though. When was the last time he got a pass on the block and quickly threw up a soft hook shot before the defense could get to him? (That play 7 seconds in was early in the game even).

It's easy to have confidence when nobody is really trying to guard you. Once people started paying him the least bit of attention that confidence evaporated because he doesn't have the goods.

I would like to point out that the only person who has said that Meyers has two herniated discs is Meyers himself.

I wonder if Meyers knows the difference between a bulging disc and herniated disc?

    Player A is Meyers.

Player B, whose numbers are from his year in Portland, is none other than:

Fans ought to have a chance to personally and publicly question Neil's signings - Sean Spicer style.

Making $9.2m this year - MyLo is straight up stealing money.

The only logical reason he re-signed him is because he was his pick. Stubbornness got us 3 more years of this guy (I'm not counting this year since it's almost over) and it sucks.

Considering I highly doubt Meyers is going to change and all of a sudden become a solid rotational guy.... you have to understand that Meyers is going to be a blazer for EIGHT years unless we trade him.

A friend of mine, that works for a different NBA team, thinks Meyers should get hypnotherapy. He thinks he has some skill, but mentally it's not clicking. He believes it is anxiety based......For whatever that's worth

Sure. I mean, hell....we should all try anything at this point. I know a Wiccan couple; family friends of ours. Surely they know some song and dance to rid Meyers of impurities.

Hell, summon me a young priest and an old priest, and I'll perform an exorcism.

"Be gone, shitty skills! I cast you out in the name of Lillard! THE POWER OF NURK COMPELS YOU!"

Stotts happened to him. There's still an echo of the old Meyers bouncing around in that walking shell of his. Saw a glimpse of it last night when he posted and hooked in a nice little shot in the paint. But Stotts did what he does with every big guy - he pushed him out to the 3-point line, and so we only see Meyers The Center for one or two plays every 10ish games.

If we had a big man coach Meyers would at least be a rotation player. But because we don't, he is what we see. We've horribly mismanaged his career, and we don't seem to be doing much better with Vonleh. It's a damn good thing we got Nurk after he developed the skill set he currently has.

ARRRRGGGG so frustrating. Agree @blue9. If he would have focused on mid range game, dunks, and post play he could be a completely different player right now. IE, an actual asset.

No he wouldn't. It's mainly mental with Leonard, and that's not coachable. That's on Leonard. As a younger player he didn't know any better. He had success in college. He was feeling good. As soon as adversity hit in the NBA he crumbled.

Maybe Papa Nurkic should spend some "quality time" with Biebs.
