...if Trump seriously thinks he can manipulate China into doing his bidding he's even more delusional than I thought.

The Chinese Presidential visit (Jinping) should be a trump circus or a diplomatic achievement. From what we have seen so far from his tweet storms, it appears his focus is on his skin rather than our saving our ass.

The Gorsuch nomination and shit storm crucifixion by the Dems proves to me that this government is really backwards and tail chasing like a dog trying to bite it's own wagger rather than accomplishing something. We need fireman to run this place, not $100G polished suit self absorbed residents in DC.

oh make no mistake about it, china can be manipulated. the last thing they want is the US rebuilding its manufacturing power or our infrastructure. what Trump knows is exactly what US business people know, chinese are eager to please, have an inferiority complex and have skin as thin as his own.

I'll be in Shanghai in a month and can give you the perspective on Trump and the US from our multibillion dollar business partner.

...my comment was in reference to Trump trying to strong arm China into taking strong action/sanctions on N. Korea...don't see that happening.

...also, I really wish Trump would just stop his Twitter idiocy and quit tipping his hand as to what his intentions are. Before today's' meeting with China's head honcho, Trumps spews that “Well, if China is not going to solve North Korea, we will." Sorry, but IMO, that's just fucking dumb because China now has even less reason to get involved with throttling N. Korea. If they take Trump for his ill-chosen words, China can take a neutral position and simply let Trump and the US do all the dirty work.

^^^the missiles were directed at and limited to airports only, and putting craters in the runways of the airports and/or destroying the fuel depot and hangers will hopefully prevent the planes which dropped the nerve gas bombs from taking off.

...but again, all of Trump's actions would likely be more effective if he'd stop shooting his mouth off about what he intends to do ahead of time.

you mean like drawing a red line and then doing nothing about it? if given the choice between those options, i prefer the one where action backs up statements. Now I'm sure they'd like to get to a point where they can do things and then talk about it. But lets face it, the dithering wussified policies of the last 8 years has emboldened our enemies and he's got to bluster and if necessary pound the shit out of them if they call the bluff. any attempt to criticize ow this was handled is just looking for an excuse to bitch at something that shouldn't be itched at. Frankly I'd offer to extradite Kerry to the Hague for the crime of not getting all the chemical weapons like he assured the world he had.

...I think you may have misinterpreted my meaning... I'm not "complaining or bitching" about the action Trump took on Syria...something that is long overdue...FYI, I'm actually backing Trump on this. Musky asked what good hurling missiles at Syria was going to do?...I answered the question...simple as that.

...what I was referring to is Trump's incessant tweets about things that in general, he'd be better served by keeping them to himself.

now that would be honorable, sending Kerry, (fk Clinton too, both of 'em) to the Hague, or let's cut to the chase, and send all 4, incl. Obumafkngmoronicbastardpos, to Leavenworth, save the $$$ as neither deserves a trial, rather a US court martial would be in order......

as hard as it is to support LGBT, rather tolerate such, I find this one hilarious-

Pukin putin, altho' I respect the hard line he's taken, tho' such isn't proper for the USofA, or should I say a word I don't care for? 'Politically correct'

...and oh, ...memo to Mike Lee and those like you, sorry, but no, Trumps does not have to consult Congress... because you SOBs can neither agree on the color of shit nor keep a secret.

I was always of the belief, if any nation used chemical weapons, all hell would break loose. I doubt we will see any real action, (like Reagan's strike on Tripoli, blowing Gaddafi's compound to high hell- “Operation El Dorado Canyon”).

In preparation, OP Ghost Rider was carried out with various bases involved; eg 4450th tactical group at Tonopah Test range, we were on standby to deliver new and capable F-117's, long in advance of the actual strike. We knew it was coming months prior, it wasn't a big secret behind barbed wire, yet was a big surprise to Gaddafi. One of the highlights of my life, providing logistical support; one of many. The Nighthawks were left on the back burner, as they chose to keep stealth at home, fearing a compromise of t/stealth program; yet ready and capable. Prez Reagan had enough arsenal at his command, not requiring the new unproven in combat AC, tho' there was no doubt these unknown bombers could deliver what a much larger fleet of other various known AC would.

it wouldn't surprise me if Trumpet ignorantly tries to revive a strike, on the anniversary 4/14; broadcasting his move, before an wing takes to the skies. It's his nature to do everything for his own glory; no different than the fks who chose hitlers b'day to blow up the WTC. Shit knowing him he'd tweet about the op before it got off the ground.....
