Mighty mouse was my boy. Who was he overrated by?

The answer is Lamarcus. That's not a petty answer either.

Brian Grant and Sabonis. Neither came to play in Game 7 and no one will call them on it.

    Brandon Roy

He played a grand total of 321 games for us (30th on the allbtime list). Averaged 19/4/4, yet a lot of people want to retire his number?

He played 23 more games in a Blazer uniform than Meyers Fucking Leonard.

Where are the chants for Kiki Vandeweghe? He played thecsame number if seasons, and scored more points.

Roy was a good player, but a lot of people in here really overrate him.

If it hadn't been for his knees his number would be retired here. Its not like we traded for him, then he just played here for a few seasons then left via free agency/trade.

    Amazing player, big heart!

The fact that some want his number retired doesn't make him overrated. He was a 3 time all star and 2 times all-nba in his first 4 years in the league. And he would be one again in his 5th if not for those damn injuries.

The guy had surgery and returned in 10 days to help us in the playoffs and he paid the price for it. Don't mention him in this topic though. It's crazy!

Definitely LaMarcus Aldridge, no contest. Do Spurs fans even like him now?

Stoudamire IMO. He was overrated by the coaches--handed starting roles and major ballhandling duties over guys (Greg Anthony, Pippen) who were clearly better fits in the team concept. Also massively overrated by the GM's with those ridiculous contracts.

I will say that had he entered the league in the current point guard climate I would probably have liked him a lot more. Waterbug three point shooting point guards work a lot better in modern systems. And the whole pot thing wouldn't be such a major issue now.

That's probably the most charitable thing I've ever said about the guy.

I don't think Damon was ever highly regarded by most fans.
