Re: Shaq Calls Nash's MVPs 'Tainted' I noticed something about rivalries being brought up and how this could be a way to start one or continue one. But I disagree, I think this was just a cheapshot. If the Heat and Suns had some sort of rivalry before this comment or incident, I'd see no reason to call it "fuel to the fire" by Shaq. Yet, there was none and it was just Shaq's response to what he thought of Nash and his MVP wins. Plus how it came out of nowhere and during the despair of the Heat season. I think sparking a rivalry makes no sense.
Re: Shaq Calls Nash's MVPs 'Tainted' hahaha, shaq only had half a brain to begin with. Go cross your eyes and arms, Mr. "I want to make 6.2 millions".
Re: Shaq Calls Nash's MVPs 'Tainted' Thank you someone who knows what they are talking about finally said something. How long have I been saying this? Exactly for ever now no one thinks I am right, but w/e. I don't like Nash he is not on my fav players list, but I don't dis like him either. And this year I think he should win it I said that in another thread. So not I hate this guy.Last season no question Lebron/Kobe should have won it. And you could say Dirk also before Nash. The year before his first MVP Shaq could have won it was a very close vote there. But I still say it should have been AI and no not cause I am a AI fan I really think that. He only averaged 3 assists less then Nash that is 6 points he double Nash's points from 15 to 30 sorry but that is a huge diff even when you count the assists in.I am tired of arguing this with people, but Shaq said it well. But this season I agree he should win it this time he actually deserves it.

But it adds some emotion and flavor to the game, and things like this and things like the Wade/Dirk thing is what stirs up things and helps cause rivalries. People want emotion and rivalries, yet they get all fed up when someone says something negative about another player.

This was a cheapshot by a disgruntled player. There's no verbal jabbing happening but from one player. I don't mind playful antics or comments during a playoff matchup or a built up rivalry. That's fun, but this has none of that going for it and you agree. So I don't mind people being up in arms about this or Wade's comments.Comments out of left field don't warrant a pat on the back and congrats for helping contrive emotion and rivalry when your team sucks ass.
