No, went and saw it in theaters. It was kind of disappointing, probably because EVERYONE was talking about it and I heard about every scene but it was still pretty funny. If you search Borat on Google Images you get a nice pic of him and George Dubya.

You're pretty ignorant. I'm sick of people saying woman aren't treated respectfully in the Middle East. It's there to a degree, but the majority is that Woman are treated with tons of respect - much more than a man is. With regards to the Middle East being a majority Muslim region - the Muslim religion specifically teaches us to respect all females with the utmost respect and appreciation - with specific regard to your mother. "The Heavens lie under your mothers feet" - which is a huge thing in Islam. If anything Woman are treated with more respect than they are here. Saying Woman are not respected in the Middle East is like saying Woman aren't respected in the United States because theres a small percentage of prostitution in the US. Its not right - simple as that. Stop listening to conservative bullsh**.

If I really wanted to - I could easily find things that are much worse than we've seen in a Muslim country. There is plenty of murder, domestic abuse, prostitution, etc to show - that doesn't mean the majority of the country treats woman badly. Also - I wasn't sure what your stance on the issue was...

I think they are repressed, but for the most part everyone in the middle east is being repressed. that whole region of the world seems to be in a "dark age".
Not technologically, but socially they are, especially if you compare it to East Asia, Europe or Northern North America. The Middle east is still a very violent place, they still have blood feuds, civil rights are small to none existant in most countries. Religion and superstition still effects politics, law, and daily lives(it does so in a lot of places but not to the extreme like in the middle east), Sanitation outside the major cities is very poor. though they aren't as bad as central Africa; there is a dark age for you.
