To all of us who played this kickass sport in gym class, love it and dig it. ------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks to Wolverine for bringing this up. Playing doubles badminton is the greatest...espiecially with your own rules where one bounce is allowed and going over the net with just your racket is allowed (gets physical and you get hit. ouch).
We just had a badminton tournament at school. Me and my partner won the tournament. It was fun smashing it at people. And badminton in gym class was fun too.
I dont like it, im not patient enough. sh*t is way too slow and its for old people it seems like. Its one of those activities you do in school that is "safety first" sports....and no matter how hard you hit the damn thing, it was comes down so softly...
Yeah, I love badminton. I'm a top 3 player in my class. It's very fun. Me and my partner are 3-1 in gym class. I am alot better than my partner, but he's alright at smashing.
^I don't agree with that. When you hit it hard (smash), it is very hard for the opposition to react.The way I play badminton is aim for the person's body because it's hard for them to hit it back or make the person move from side to side by placing it as wide as possible.

My friend is apparently hella good. I've never seen him play before tho. He made var as a frosh. so I'm guessing hes gonna be var again this year
I am very good at badmitton but I don't win. I'm kind of like Archie Manning: I've got the numbers but not the titles. I finished in 2nd place in my gym class.
I love badminton. Played it in middle school and played it in high school PE. I even had a racket and some birdies that I lost at home. Pretty fun to play.
I love badminton. I just got done playing it in PE....or I don't know if I am done with it yet....not sure. But me and my partner are really good together.

I suck many balls at tennis. I always hit it too hard.But badminton is fun because I can BAM it to the other dudes face. very fun.
I'm not a fan of 'baming'...I like going back and forth quickly going from one side of the court to the other, it's hard to defend the bam.
Usually I just try to loft it over the oppenents face (they then have to hit it up high so it will go over, and then Im in a great position to just tip it away from them or smash it.
