It was kind of like the Ws toyed with us until they could turn up the Defense on Dame and CJ in the 4 th.

I'm really looking forward to Nurkic's return... the Warriors are good but they are flawed. If Cleveland can catch their stride, they may beat them again.

Here's to hoping Nurk is back on Tuesday. We've got a legit shot at stealing home court if he's out there.

The Blazers may have gotten beat, but they certainly showed they're not afraid of Golden State. If our second unit contributes a bit more in the next few games, we're gonna give these guys a run for their money. And if we get Nurk back, watch out!

Stotts gave you your wish and the Warriors took a 13 point lead against his replacement.

    Happy now? :dunno:

We've played them tough in 5 straight playoff games. We can play with these guys.

I am, because if Leonard is out there we would have never been closer than 20. Or never been tied after 3.

The other ones don't count - they didn't have Durant (30/10) to account for. So it's all different now.

That said, we did play them tough. Can't complain.

You will never win with only 9 points from your bench. That's fucking abysmal.

Just curious why you guys who keep saying if we had Nurk we would have won? I'm not sure he would have helped stop KD tonight. Or do you think our guards will put up those kind of numbers again and he would be just enough more offense to win? I think the Ws defense is what beat us tonight. Not sure Nurk could have changed that.

some of you old timers will remember this...

I felt today in the 4th like I did in the Finals against the Pistons. When they ratchet up the D (and you're right, swallowing the whistles was appropriate and mostly even) and do stuff that's borderline, our team doesn't. No one popped Green going down the lane. No one laid a screen on Durant that knocked him down. CJ tried ripping the ball out once, but no one else did until Dame at the very end (from his own guy, I think).

We need toughness. Aminu and Hark should own that. Nurk definitely does. I can't wait to see him do what Oden did to Garnett the first game he played against him...pushed him over the photographers into the 2nd row.

You kidding, rite? He played more hero ball than Dame did. Not much help there really.

And have someone offered 500.000 to Mo at halftime?

    Nurk, we need you.

LOST IN THE SHUFFLE: Probably CJ's best defensive game of his life, and mostly because of effort. Thompson played like garbage and it was mostly because of CJ. If he does this on a nightly basis, this "defensively challenged" backcourt can work out...

Dame's defense....let's not talk about that.
