I was watching the cavs heat and shaq looks really strong and energized if he can get back to 35 + mins a game I think we have mvp shaq back. he plays with supreme domination as well did Alanzo morning closing out the game. if the heat can stay above 500 and actually gain some ground as they finally beat a top team if they hold off ground before dwade gets back I am sencing a repeat
I thought it was impossible for the Heat to repeat this year, and then DWade got injured..Now I'm sure. Shaq cannot and will not carry that team all by himself throughout the regular season, so when the playoffs come around they'll probably be playing Detroit or the Wiz and even if they beat them, they stand no chance against whoever will make the Finals from the Western Conference.
Even if Shaq is as good as he is going to be as of now, and Wade is at 100 percent, I am still not sensing a repeat. IMO, Shaq is way too much on the downslide, the heat supporting cast isnt as good, and Wade isnt going to be able to carry them like he did last year. He hasnt lost a step, but Phoenix and Dallas are just too good. I think that if the Heat are 100 percent healthy, they can make it to the finals, but I would for sure take Dallas or Phoenix over them, and MAYBE San Antonio the way they are playing right now.
I've been sensing a repeat all season. Just now it'll obviously be tougher with Wade out a month say month and a half (assuming he opts not to have surgery). Shaq knows when to turn it on and he knows now is time. I'm not afraid of us losing a playoff spot, so just as long we get Wade back before playoffs we're most definitely capable of getting back to the finals, then we'll just have to take it from there.

He said that if they continue to get him 35+ minutes and get him those touches (obviously, until Wade is back), then he could be MVP-like Shaq again. Do I agree with that? Probably not, but if Miami somehow maintains speed and continues to play well with Shaq carrying them, he should be a candidate.
