sure didnt act like it last night, just tellin ya what you want to hear

He doesn't sound very confident

Sometimes Dame is too even keeled for me.

I don't think it's over either. But we need Nurk. We just have no inside presence right now.

They definitely looked like the youngest team in the NBA last night. Rattled.

I'm not sure what people were expecting going into this.

Exactly. I was fully expecting to be down 2-0 at this point, especially without Nurkic playing. I was surprised at how competitive the Blazers were in Game 1, but that was because Dame and CJ were both shooting lights out. Game 2, in retrospect at least, was fully predictable. The Warriors, being an experienced and very deep team came out motivated to play well because Durant wasn't playing. The Blazers, being a young and inexperienced team, came out less focused than they had in Game 1; probably because they just couldn't help relaxing a bit with Durant sitting out. They started out okay, but panicked when their shots stopped falling and never got into the game at all. Sure, the Warriors played good D, but mostly it was missed shots by the Blazers that was the problem. We've seen the Blazers get blown out on the road by the likes of New Orleans and Charlotte this year in similar situations. I don't think that says diddly about how they'll play at home in Game 3. Without Nurkic, I expected the team to lose in 4 or 5. If Nurkic had been available the full series, I'd say the Blazers would probably have won a couple of games. I hope he can play on Saturday just so we can get a better idea of where the team is on the development curve.

We are down 2 games. It's within the realm of possibility our Blazers can win the next 2 games at home and turn this into a dogfight type of series!

Here we are still together
We are one
So much time wasted
Playing games with love

So many tears I've cried
So much pain inside
But baby It ain't over 'til it's over
So many years we've tried
To keep our love alive
But baby it ain't over 'til it's over

How many times
Did we give up
But we always worked things out
And all my doubts and fears
Kept me wondering, yeah
If I'd always, always be in love

So many tears I've cried
So much pain inside
But baby It ain't over 'til it's over
So many years we've tried
And kept our love alive

'Cause baby it ain't over 'til it's over

I'm not sure you will ever find an NBA player who isn't going to express confidence when asked about future games in a playoff series. Isn't this an interview after the game last night, the worst playoff loss Dame has ever been in, so of course he might sound a little peeved or not fully into the interview.

...Dame was live on Instagram for the past hour, interesting insight into his current psyche at the moment :dunno: he seems like he has moved on from the season, only talking about promoting his album, summer concerts, upcoming boxing fights, etc.
