Ah I don't know except one game every game AI+Melo played they were not the problem sucks when you combine for 50-60 points, but no one else scores even 10 points. Come on guys not like you don't get the ball when you go 3-10 for example. AI last game only shot like 18 times AI brought his shots down, but no one else seems to be making them consistently. Wish he had a few more assists the last few games, but he been doing fine. Only bad part was less game was the 9 turnovers other then that he had a pretty good game I think solid atleast not enough assists but got like 2 steals, and even 1 block with the point he usually get's.I think except D they are missing a inside presence scoring. Like say a KG/JO/Pau I think we should have went for JO/Pau hard. We tryed for JO atleast, but should have tryed harder.I see even Camby slacking a little on D.What do you all think what is the problem out side of D?I even see AI trying harder on D then Melo, and AI is not known for D but sometimes it looks like he tries atleast. Melo should be better at D I think he is better then people give him props for on D. But he need to pay more attention to D now.And for the love of god don't force shots Melo let AI create a better one for you pass it back out please stop forcing sometimes he forces way to much.I think the coach should do a better way of playing them to together cause no way those 2 should be slowed down that easy. Run some actual plays then teams won't be able to stop them instead of just running none stop up and down with no plays except with a few seconds left in a period then you make a playe. Geez
'Melo can't play D worth sh*t, AI has been playing his heart out on D, and Camby has been slacking; I think he is still hurt though.

He is better on D then some think. I am not saying he is good on D just better then some make it sound.AI has been trying on D I agree.Tonight I did not watch the game against Memphis, but I saw the box scores. Melo 33/6/3/1 But 6 turnovers was to many just like AI's 9 the game before was awful.AI 25/9/5/2 4 turnovers not as bad as the 9 the game before that, but still needs to cut down on them.Nene really looks like he steped up they need to get him involved more, and Karl said he will so let's hope it keeps working. 27 points, 9 boards, 2 steals, and 1 block only 1 turnover to.Camby scored only 8, but got 13 boards, 4 assists for a center is good, 2 steals, and 3 blocks, and only 1 turnover.Only thing I wonder is how we did not blow Memphis out when AI+Melo did not have of nights, and to top that of you had Nene score 27. Ah D had to be bad if Memphis was not blown the heck out.
The trade to Denver seems to have re-energized AI on the defensive end of the floor. Granted he still gambles a lot and can't cut off penetration like I'd like to see him do, but he's giving 150% defensively... something I couldn't say the last year or so in Philly. He still has room to improve though... Melo just doesn't fight over screens or anything like that. He doesn't come out to contest shots as much as he should... and the same goes for other guys too. Camby just seems hesitant to try and block shots (except for tonight against Memphis), and is reluctant to come and guard his man out at the free throw line extended area. Same with Nene. With Smith out, Denver needs a consistent third scoring option, or other guys will have to all pick up the slack. Without Nene's big game, they lose tonight against the Grizzlies... hopefully for Denver they can take the Memphis win and somehow string a few good games together.

He is more happy, and is really trying on D actually. Everytime I watch I am like damn is this guy actually trying to play D now. lol But Yeah he can get better needs to cut down on the turnovers more.Melo should deff start playing better D, but I don't think he is bad like a lot of others. Camby does need to come out to guard his man.And Yeah with Smith out Camby, Nene, and everyone else really need to step up to help AI+Melo. But they deff need to start winning they are like 10 games out of the div this is not good. If they play the big 3 Dallas, Suns, Spurs we will not make it to the 2nd round. So we need to some how finish of only losing a few games, and it be hard with how many hard games we still have and a lot on the road.
The problem with 'Melo's D is that he just doesn't try most of the time when on defense. It is the whole team though, look at the Utah game. When they didn't have Boozer, AK47, or Okur playing we got beat. Why? They could just drive to the whole at will and Camby wasn't contesting as many as he could have.

I'm surprised though that Iverson hasn't really said anything (I am assuming) regarding the lack of defensive effort and intensity... he always did that in Philadelphia both during the good times and the bad times. I know he's been a great vocal leader for Denver so far along with Camby, but he still needs to step it up a little bit more. I understand he's probably trying not to step on anyone's toes or whatever, but if anybody can bring this team together, it's him. That goes both on and off the court... I've noticed he's trying a little too hard to defer to Carmelo. Granted he was better last night against Memphis, but once he starts penetrating and creating like he did when Carmelo was out, this team will be a lot better.
AI just doesn't want to create friction this soon. I bet something has been said by other players about 'Melo's D. I think it will take him an off season or entire season for him to make him a good defender. He can improve by hustling more often though, which would help the team.

But I still think he said something in private. And Yeah I see him passing it of to Melo a little to much sometimes.Ah I am sure they will be great next season, but still they need to get better this season also.
