The world-wide leader in sports is always there for me when I need it, and SportsCenter is definitely one of my favorite programs on the tele. Would life be drastically different without ESPN?

I don't watch ESPN that often, they rarely show anything that has to do with basketball. I could care less about football/baseball. I either turn on NBATV or watch the game highlights on NBA.com.

ESPN is my life. I'd probably kill myself without it.

My only complaint(s) is that the shows repeat too much: Sportscenter, GameTime, etc... You can tell they re-run segments all day. Showing a different variety of highlights would be nice too... it's the same highlights on every damn show, all day long.

The only time I watch ESPNews is every morning to watch the highlights of the NBA, and Wed and Fri nights to watch the games.

I think I would still be alive, but I wouldn't be interested in sports. ESPN really caught my attention with SportsCenter's "Top 10 Plays" and all. Blah blah blah...

My life would definitely be less informed when it came to sports. That is what I am watch when I am bored and there is nothing on TV. And that is where I go to watch clips of news or games of that night. I dont know what I would do without it....

It doesn't matter if ESPN exists or not. As I understand, before ESPN, ABC was the world leader in sports (there's an obvious connection there, I know). If ESPN didn't exist, something else would take up for it. As long as there is demand, a channel will continue to provide for that demand.

I would be in the same place I am now. Like Tony, I don't watch ESPN a whole lot, I used to when I was in a dorm. But at home, I tend to watch other programs, if I want news on basketball or sports, I'll find them online. Only time I catch ESPN is if there's a Mavs game or a certain college game I want to see.
