    I was in SF earlier this year during St. Patrick's Day parade (although actually went to see ballet). There were a bunch of booths and one was a motorcycle club called Rip City Riders. I asked the two guys if they were from Portland and they said no but Portland is Rip City. Apparently everyone who has ever had a connection to Portland asks them if they are from Portland. I bought a raffle ticket for a motorcycle. $5 and it goes to a veterans' charity so worthy cause for Rip City.
