I hope D-Wade doesn't try to come back this year.</div>Thats why I mentioned it, Amare then noticed he wasn't ready and took serious time off to make sure hes ready to go when the season starts, I hope Shaun doesn't make the mistake Amare did and follow what he did do right.
Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? I seriously doubt Livingston could even come back mid-season if he wanted.

For all you know he might not even be ready by next season, which is my point.

Now this is an ACL and like five other injuries piled on at the same time. And don't forget about the mental hurdle he'll have to overcome if/when he does come back. He might do something like Will Ferrel did in '"Talledega Nights".

Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? This is major - he tore up EVERY single ligament there is in a knee - those take tons of time to rehabilitate. I don't think he'll be back until halfway through next season. I'm not doubting him - but to come back from an injury like that and play the same as before is extremely difficult.

You think Amare is better than Yao?</div>It can easily be debated, offensively I would take Amare as he is WAY more agressive then Yao, defensively Yao is better but Amare is a force to be reckoned with, he can hit the mid range J and run the break. It really isn't a bad comparison.
Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? I dont see his career being over. Hes still young, and this doesn't do as much damage as it would to a guy a few years older. It will heel faster than a veteran's leg. Plus he has a lot of time to getting back to functioning properly. I think he will be back around this time next season.

Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? I don't see how people can say that his career isn't over and that he can still live up to his potential. The kid tore up 3 KNEE LIGAMENTS... and dislocated his knee cap. It will probably take him a good year or two to even get back on the court for the Clippers (probably closer to two years, if he's smart). And even then he won't be the player he could have been. His mobility is going to be messed up, and it will take him a long time to get over the mental aspect.I feel really bad for him because it was just a freak injury that will possibly end his career, or at least hold him back from being the player he could have been if this injury had not occurred. I don't expect to see him playing until the 2008-09 season... and if both he and the Clippers were smart, they wouldn't even try playing him before then.
Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? I don't think he will be out for the rest of his career he will have the whole summer to rehab and he will most likely miss all of next season or at least most of it.
Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? I'm not going to read through the 3 pages, sorry guys. I don't think Livy's career is over. It definately took a hit last night with that nasty injury. But honestly, if Livy does come back, the kid still needs to put on some weight/muscle. That's one hurdle I feel certain players don't make and it leads to injury proneness. Livingston is one player who needed some time in college.
Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? Tim legler had the same exact injury and was back on the court playing at almost full strength within 12 months. So its all dependant on his healing ability. It looked really bad but it definately could alter his career, but most definately wont end it.Still that was just ridiculous, I dont know what I would do if that happened to me. I think I would just pass out in shock....

Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? He tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and a Lateral Meniscus, yeah, his career is over, dumb ass. He'll be lucky if he can walk. Poor guy, and to think that little bi*ch Dwyane Wade was crying about a little shoulder problem.

But in all seriouness, I think in the future (who knows when) he can come back and be a contributor but obviously not anytime soon.</div>Yeah AI would do a lot with that team with a big guy like Brand inside.Anyway NO WAY he is done he will be out, but he is not done.At some point he will come back.
Re: Is Shaun Livingston's career over? Another player just like Livingston I worry about is Devin Harris. Hopefully Harris gets stronger so something like this doesn't happen to him. Probably being long and skinny together= injury prone.

He was trying to make a play, he unfortunately landed wrong. How is he a dumbass?
