I think that's more plausible than all of them really being that stupid. Its pretty much the next Flat Earth debate.

    Can't argue with that logic.

Well it is a shitty game tonight. So we might as well find out who is stupid.

I see you are thinking along the line of plausible. That indicates you are not certain, just sort of hoping.

Perhaps you can straighten up a little and convince this ancient mariner that he is in denial about, What?
Who knows you might even try going for proving him stupid?

    What you got? Anything profound?

Yeah. Well just tell us what Elmer Fudd is in denial of in your opinion. I am curious how you can determine whom in is denial?

    Good.

Nobody ever uses the site anyway, and it's simply posting redundant information available elsewhere.

No credible scientist would argue against it, in fact it's pretty much a given among scientists.

You should read some science books sometime. They can be informative.

Next you're going to claim that no one should ever see a doctor because we're all going to die anyways. No credible scientist would argue against everyone eventually dies. It's a given among scientists.

You argue wrong. Can't change what genetic fallacy is.

Exxon-Mobile could have committed all kinds of atrocities. If they say water is wet, they're right, regardless of their past.

Idso is quite specific about 300ppm, 600ppm, 1 degree C and 0.4 degrees C. Address the facts.

I think a lot of people are believing in a mass hysteria.

In the olden days, religious leaders kept people in line with scare tactics about fire and brimstone and biblical floods.

These days, it's political leaders threatening upcoming fire and brimstone and biblical floods.

    The masses are suckers.

How much less carbon dioxide should we emit, and what will be the measurable effect?

Before we spend trillions and trillions of dollars, at the expense of actual good things, how about some predictions that match what actually happens?

When past predictions have failed to come to fruition, why double down?

Ha! ^^^ Pretty damn close to, spot on!

While I reserve the right to the opinion that there is a good place for religion in our society, I also am aware of the excesses of religious leaders either abusing their position for their own gain or assisting the sovereign. We now see the the political leaders, using government to replace the religions, as a religion, and attempting to conscript pseudo science to replace clergy. The new dispensers of, pay or face doom. It is working far more effectively than I would have ever imagined could be possible.

    Thank you for the clue.

The climate is changing and theres nothing anyone can do to stop it. It was going to happen no matter what. Giving your money to corrupt cronyist politicians WILL NOT stop the poles from shifting or the earth from rotating along its axis, I promise. Perhaps liberals could just donate thier own hard earned money to these upstanding representatives rather than trying to force the rest of us to?

Scientist invents way to trigger artificial photosynthesis to clean air

A chemistry professor in Florida has just found a way to trigger the process of photosynthesis in a synthetic material, turning greenhouse gases into clean air and producing energy all at the same time.

The process has great potential for creating a technology that could significantly reduce greenhouse gases linked to climate change, while also creating a clean way to produce energy.

"This work is a breakthrough," said UCF Assistant Professor Fernando Uribe-Romo. "Tailoring materials that will absorb a specific color of light is very difficult from the scientific point of view, but from the societal point of view we are contributing to the development of a technology that can help reduce greenhouse gases."

The findings of his research are published in the Journal of Materials Chemistry A.

Uribe-Romo and his team of students created a way to trigger a chemical reaction in a synthetic material called metal-organic frameworks (MOF) that breaks down carbon dioxide into harmless organic materials. Think of it as an artificial photosynthesis process similar to the way plants convert carbon dioxide (CO2) and sunlight into food. But instead of producing food, Uribe-Romo's method produces solar fuel.

To see an explanation see this video:

Wow! That's cool, makes coal useful again.
    Burn coal, for electricity.
Then blue light the bitch, For more good stuff.

Perhaps we could make electricity cheap enough to make Hydrogen. Enough to use as a portable fuel, then all our cars could wash the roadways instead of put the bitch in the atmosphere.

Adidas plans to sell at least one million pairs of shoes partially made with ocean trash by the end of 2017. Each pair of shoes will use an average of 11 plastic bottles.

German sports brand Adidas in partnership with environmental initiative Parley for the Oceans had released a limited edition ocean plastic waste sneaker last year. On May 10, the company is set to release three new running shoes, created with Parley Ocean Plastic, helping Adidas reach its goal of creating 1 million pairs of UltraBoost sneakers using ocean plastic this year.

I bet manufacturing them has a larger carbon footprint than normal sneakers

@MarAzul doesn't care about that, he just wants the plastic out of the ocean. He also wants the guberment to do it so he won't be buying any of these damn shoes. @MarAzul is becoming such the liberal.
