Bet the Giants take the Miami TE.

TE...different TE though. The Giants O should be stacked with him and Marshall added. Need to draft OL and more OL moving forward. Then maybe pepper in a RB in the 4th or 5th.

Have to like the Giants if they can improve the OL now. O should be much better with Marshall and Engram. Everyone back on D outside of Hankins. Not much to dislike outside of the OL. If they can improve that tomorrow night they could be scary.

To me now the Rangers should shove this up Boucher's ass. Now he is mocking. He said some similar stuff yesterday, and now he says this. If I am AV I am shoving that in all the guys faces tomorrow:

"The players didn't want to get swept in four. We heard from everybody how good they are. It's all we could hear, how much they are going to crush us. They are a scary team and have four lines and their goaltender is outstanding. There was a lot of fear tonight that helped us and we were able to do it. We are expecting them to bounce back even better so we know how tough it will be in the next game."

Angers me. Such over the top BS.

That's crazy. The difference between them is almost negligible. Anderson had a better year than Lundqvist and the Rangers don't play all that well against him.

I don't agree with you as we have discussed 71, but the fact still stands to me that Boucher is full of it I think. Plus he says all that and still only won 2-1 on a late fluky goal. I mean how do the Rangers play much worse. Ottawa at worst played well. Only comment someone can make is Hank won't play as well next game, but outside of that tonight is the most positive you can feel after a crap result a playoff L (which means you cannot feel good or take any real positives but you look for a glimmer of hope off a lazy sloppy L).

Gotta trim the penalties and get more traffic around Anderson. Stepan and Hayes have to start providing more obviously too.

It's amazing how they always go from one of the top offensive teams in the regular season to one of the lowest scoring teams in the playoffs. This forward group as whole just does not bring it in the playoffs. They never wanna get their noses dirty in the playoffs.

Kreider and Stepan are playing themselves into trades.

Don't get me wrong, Kreider, Stepan and Miller haven't shown up pretty much all playoffs, but last night I thought Hayes was god awful. Truly seemed like his head wasn't into the game at all. Alarming to me.

Outside of faceoffs Hayes has looked VERY mediocre in the playoffs. At least Stepan is back checking. Hayes literally looks totally lost out there. Watching him looks like you're watching a kids team playing and they don't know where to go so they all just skate around aimlessly lol.

In 29 career playoff games Hayes has 2 goals and six assists. He becomes a ghost in the playoffs.

Obviously those are not good numbers, but if he wins face-offs and plays hard I could somewhat live with that. Last night he didn't play hard and took dumb penalties and was sloppy and lazy all over the ice. That was another level to me. Not simply unable to produce scoring/opportunities.

Awful lazy and sloppy stuff from Hayes last night.

Many players become "ghosts" in the playoffs. But why do they all seem to be Ranger players?

Just last series we all watched Pacioretty turn into a ghost and Montreal fans are ready to strip his letter and run him out of town. Go look at Johnny Hockey's statline from his series against the Ducks. Almost every team in the league has their share of playoff underperformers.

Pac didn't score for Montreal (which on that team he has to score) but he was getting chances all series. He had like 35 SOG on the series including some great chances.

Hayes can never get to lose pucks and couldn't even do simple things like keep the puck in the offensive zone. He had a really good G6 after a bad series for most part vs Montreal. Let's hope he can rebound.

Rangers are down 1-0 in 2nd round and outside of Hank Nash Fast Zuc McD Girardi and Smith have not played great hockey thru 6 games. It's still a resilient core I think they will play a great G2 tomorrow.

One other thing check out the Ottawa board on HF. I don't post on that site but I like to read comments and it's funny they act like the team we saw last night was the way NY plays. Don't get me wrong fluke goal or not the Sens deserved to win G1 as outside of Lund that was a terrible gm just like Montreal G3. But I'm not sure Ottawa can play much better than that and I don't think NYR can play worse. Yes Lund was amazing but if you think that's an anomaly you haven't been watching him in the playoffs the past few years including round 1.

I think losing that game based on how they played is fine. I fully expect this to be tied up going back to the Garden. They may not win tomorrow but they will play much better. And I expect more of the same from Hank.

    Couldn't agree more Disturbed.

I am honestly not worried at all about this series. BUT, and it is a big BUT, if we lay another egg tomorrow I obviously will be. And I base my non worry on the fact that I feel very confident we will see a different team tomorrow at 3. If we don't then all bets are off of course.

And I also couldn't agree more with your assessment of the game last night. Hank was great, not an anomaly so I doubt that changes, and the rest of the team no showed pretty much. Ottawa played really well, their PP was lethal whether they scored or not. They also got a fluke goal. We also hit 2 or 3 posts. You add that ALL up and we lost 2-1 on a late fluke goal on a play that should have been icing. That's reality.

Reality also is Ottawa 100000000000% deserved to win that game, fluke goal or not, so the right team won.

If I'm an Ottawa fan, are there Ottawa fans because I didn't hear any in the building last night, I am happy my team won for sure. And my hope is the Rangers continue to be inept, and Hank comes down from last night. BUT I don't feel great today knowing all the stuff that went in our favor and we barely won. I wouldn't feel good about that. What I would hang my hat on is Hank won't be that great every game, and that is fair to me...he won't be THAT great every game, but he will still be great. And we can only play better. Not sure how much better Ottawa can play. SO add that all up and again we only lost 2-1...pretty crazy.

I'll say it right now, the winner of game 2 will win this series I believe. If we play how we should play and win game 2 I think it is 6 and done. If they go up 2-0 we are not coming back I don't believe. Winner of game 2 wins the series. You heard it here.

Hayes looks like he's been drugged before some of these games. I don't think the coaches will call him out specifically at this stage but they need to figure out what's going on there. Stepan for what he is should be more noticeable offensively. Paying the dude 6m and he's making less of a difference than Fast.

The only right team to win is the Rangers. Now if we can only let the Ranger players
know it............the only problem is we, as fans, do not know which Ranger team will
be playing on a given night. Jekyll and Hyde of hockey.
