Re: Help! On Saturday I tried to download a photoshop CS2 torrent and I'm pretty sure I downloaded a virus because a couple minutes after I dled it I lost my internet connection and my dad and I both haven't been able to get it back. Everyone elses computer in my house is working other than juust mine so I'm pretty sure it's a virus. zthe only thing is that for some reason it effected my xbox live connection also which I didn't think it could do. Does anyone know how I might be able to remove the virus? BTW I triede to get the torrent off of piratebay.org incase anyone wants to know.
Re: Help! A couple of options:1. Get Virus Removal software (Norton, McAffee...)2. Format your computer.PEOPLE - when you use torrents you HAVE to read the comments - they are so helpful because they tell you if its a good file or not.

I have McAffee also btw and it usually solves it if I dl somehting bad from limewire but it didn't this time. Does that mean my only option is to reformat my computer? If so I have to backup any important files I want to keep right?
Re: Help! Holy sh*t. I think I got the same problem with you. My connection with my other computer is sooo f*cking slow you wouldn't believe it. I have 2 virus protectors too. My bro is gonna format it though.
Re: Help! Yeah, this is like the 8th thread with 'help' in the last week.As for your problem: Serves you right for using windows like most of the other losers on this forum. Switch to Mac and you won't have gay little virus problems.

Besides the torrent? Think of anything you think you might have changed and tell me if possible. Also, do you have a router or something? Make sure all the cables are connected and call your ISP if possible and ask if there is internet in your area. This has happened to me before randomly at night and I just check if my cable modem has signal or call my ISP.

I need some more details if you want help.
Re: Help! I don't know what else to say. I was dling a CS2 torrent and while bitcomet was in the middle of completing the task, I juust lost my internet connection. Everyone elses computer works fine in my house and it says and when I tried to reconnect it said my connection was excellent even though it's not.

In order for it to be a virus from the torrent you had to a .exe file but if you didn't then I don't think the connection is lost because of a virus.
