I'd honestly try to trade 15, 26, ET, 'Bazz, Moe, and future 2nds for #10.

They need PGs and SFs. Napier is a PG, Turner is both, and Harkless is a SF. 15 & 26 for 10 is an even trade, and Harkless, Napier, and future 2nds have positive value to SAC, offsetting ETs bad contract, which isn't as bad for them since they could use a PG and SF, as well as a veteran.

We could then offer BKN our 2018 or 2019 1st for taking Meyers and Crabbe, which I think they would consider.

Teams would take Aminu and Davis for free. I think NYK would send O'Quinn for both

In the end, we'd have the 10th and 20th picks, and $40M in cap. You could swap the 20th pick with a 2nd to add more incentive for BKN or SAC to agree on a deal.

I think Boston will land a Star SF (Butler, Hayward or PG13), which will make Crowder expendable. The 10th pick is good value for him, and he's only making $6M a year.

So let's say you get Crowder and O'Quinn. There's still $30M to sign a guy like James Johnson, which room left over to get or trade for a backup PG.

    Lillard / ?
    McCollum / Sefelosha
    Crowder / Sefelosha
    Johnson / Vonleh
    Nurkuc / O'Quinn

I like that lineup a lot.

Sorry - not impressed by a guy who had one "good" game, and only played "well" after the game had already been decided. The only reason he was "killin'" was because he had an anomalous game where his shots actually went in.
Look at his body of work, not a single game - especially one in which we got DESTROYED.

Bullshit. Aminu played well the entire game. Butters hasn't played well all season. Off the top of your head, when's the last time Butters played well?? NVM don't answer that.

You're literally trying to convince the Forum that Butters is better than Aminu...

No - I'm saying I would rather have Meyers ON THE BENCH NOT PLAYING A SINGLE MINUTE than have Aminu playing regular rotation minutes. There's a world of difference between what I'm saying and what you're saying I'm saying.

Would Phoenix be a team interested in Meyers? I like Tyson Chandler as a backup center. I might even take Barbosa off there hands.

Aminu is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Butters and your bias is showing.

We have to keep Lillard and Nurkic. McCollum too as long as it's not possible to trade him for a superstar who would fit us better.

I think it also makes sense to keep Harkless (good contract) and Aminu (versatile, good deal). We need to get rid of Meyers, should consider trading Davis for a second round pick, should seek opportunities to deal Crabbe and maybe consider trading Turner.

I want us to draft minimum three players. I would also be fine with adding 1-2 more late picks to the ones we already own.

One of Harkless/Aminu needs to go. I'd rather shift more shooting into that 3/4 spot and add some defensive players better equipped to guard elite 1's and 2's.

And for me, I'd probably lean towards keeping Harkless. Aminu has the rarer skillset, but when I think of both of them and which of the two could develop into a trusted rotation player on a Blazers team with real hopes of a deep run in the playoffs...Harkless is pretty clearly that guy for me.

I'm not disagreeing. But I would still rather NOT play Butters than PLAY Aminu.
