...not sure what the Bears' reasoning was behind trading away 4 draft picks just to move up ONE spot to take Trubisky. They had just signed QB Mike Glennon only last month to a 3 year/$45 Mil contract. ($19 Mil guaranteed)...quite a head scratcher.

...on another front, I sure hope the Raiders' big gamble in round 1 of the draft pans out.

Yep, seems like any player whose under gone investigations, never end well, less Ray Lewis, some might say Pacman, tho' that's debatable...Big gamble in ways, with big payoffs ?? I hope so; only time will tell.

As much a gamble imo, was sacrificing 3 draft picks, or banking the farm on Trubisky. What's with da Bears, do they only scout the state of NC for QB's-??? 1st Glennon, now Trubisky; could he be the next Phil Rivers...?

Speaking of LA's teams, neither are worth supporting. The lambs- much hated in LA for Georgia Frontierre's fk over divorce from so cal, to St. Louey, damaged goods. Used to enjoy the Chargers in the days of Air Coryell, Fouts, Winslow, Joiner; or prior- Hadl to Alworth. The Fearsome Foursome was a defense to behold.

LA's a funny place for football, a bittersweet history- of defeats, kind like watching Johnny Unitas, or Joe Namath finish off the twilight of their careers in SD & LA; both beaten and broken, shells of once greatness left to rot on the sidelines, a shadow of themselves...

Most football fans in so cal, would rather see the Raiders return, we'd welcome them with open arms.... now that's the ticket- :devilwink: :ghoti: :sigh:

I was kind of hoping the Giants could snatch Christian McCaffery, but the Panthers took him before the Giants pick came up.

^^^^yeah, they have to revamp that offense........ a running back and meat hook protectors. Their
    offensive tackles were horrendous.

Well, getting a legit TE was long overdue. That's a start.

I'm hoping Tomlinson can help the G-Men's D in the trenches. With the G-Men's 105 Million + $$$ line; Dalvin needs to shed a few lbs, or risk becoming the next Mt Cody or Fridge Perry... he was a game changer for the Crimson Tide; but this isn't the Ncaa...!!

...if Conley is cleared of charges, and it appears that he will, it will cap 3 consecutive years in which the Raiders have really shinned in the draft...no team has improved themselves more via the draft than the Silver and Black.

The Bears are continuing a 3-13 record in the off season too. They have 4 others to choose from and wasted four picks.

^^^^^yeah. What were the Bears thinking? The only answer I can think of is
they feared the 49ers would trade their pick to another team who would draft
Trubisky! Mind games on draft day and the Bears bit!

...I don't know why the Bears were so high on Trubisky in the first place...especially since there were a few other QBs available that many people believe translate better to the NFL than Trubisky and also most people believe that this year was not a very good QB class in general.
...Trubisky has a strong arm but very little experience...not saying that he's a dog, just that I think the Bears gave up way too much to move up ONE spot.

    My pleasure. :devilwink:

You know Raiders wear black to remind their competition, they are already dressed for the rivals funeral(s)...
