Boston was known to be racist. It is a shame the morons who practice hate have not become human.

This is not the first time Jones has played the omnipresent "race card". On one hand he says that he should just "let people be who they are" and "let them show their true colors"...but on the other hand he cries foul about it...pick one.

Hey, we all know that there's still some misguided souls out there but you're not going to change anything by acknowledging them and unintentionally giving them the very public stage that they desire.

If you want to have an actual impact on racism, stop talking about it all the time...memo to black people; stop referring to yourself as "black", "African-American", etc....memo to the media; stop referring to people as either "black" or "white". Also, do away with things like "Black History Month" or Jackie fucking Robinson Day, etc., because it perpetuates and emphasizes differences that don't really matter.

...Until we stop knowingly and purposely categorizing people by the amount of pigment in their skin nothing will ever change.

I spent a few years in the NE Region, there are some real haaad asses up there. In the case of Jones he's not a member of my favorite team but I've always respected his game viewing him as a worthy advisory. I'm not one who supports the theory of I'm ____________________and you have to love me. I will give you respect and if its returned then we can co-exist.

...but if there were a "White History Month" it would lambasted as "racist'...sick of the double standard.

it's the 25 yr anniversary of the Rodney King debacle, and the media shoving shit down our throats in so. cal.

The 1992 LA riots were never about race, tho' many tried, it was about nothing more than an excuse to loot and pillage, sewer rats abound in this shit hole. Minorities think they're exempt, and often not blacks are not the minority in many locales tho' they demand that status.....

daily a new problem is arising, ie blacks here rarely if ever cross the streets using crosswalks on busy blvds, one sewer rat stepped off a median, out in front of my car moving 55mph, swerved damn near wrecked, got out screamed at the fk, he ran, .... a daily occurrence here. The race card has been played so damn much; black kids grow up (with no manners, no ethics), most black families have no dads, an indictment on these times, and one social group... a few bad apples ruin it for the remainder... ~!~splat~!~

It's been a couple of months since his last accusation (Toronto).

Either he's a target for this or he hears what he wants.

^^^THIS...and I believe last year he was whining that " Baseball is a white man's sport"...yet he's making millions from the same people he bashes.

...it just amazes me in this day of social media how so many thin skinned people are offended just by what someone says, not by what someone actually did, but instead by what someone said.

There's a "new" protest in Florida. A guy shot down his pregnant girlfriend and her brother all were black. Next step was a gunfight by the perp and a female police officer. The perp shot her, could have gotten away from that point but elected to stand over her execution style and take her life. His choice. Saw video of the cops brining this guy in, looked like he'd had the shit beaten out of him, actually surprised he was alive. The perp stated that the police were rough with him (no shit). The prosecuting attorney is not seeking a death penalty for this man end resulting in outrage from law enforcement and state officials. The attorney is also black so protesters jumped on an execution protest of "execution ain't no solution. A real crock of shit protesting for a scumbag like that. Were I a lawyer I would not waste my breath defending that scumbag, but some asshole looking to make a name for himself probably will.

...I'm very much in favor of the death penalty, and in fact, IMO, after someone is found guilty beyond any doubt of murder/s such as the one you described, it should be left up to the family of the victim/s...if they decide life in prison, fine...but they should also have the option of being given baseball bats and spending 5 minutes in a room with the perp...or whatever other punishment they deem appropriate.

...as far as prisons, the time to bring back "chain gangs" has long passed...enough of these "country club" prisons with free TV/Cable, internet, cell phones, etc.,...not to mention they eat better than a lot of other people in this country.

Another one of my favorite subjects "White Collar Crime". Someone uses a weapon, accosts one on the street, takes what they have it's called robbery. Then you have the other guy, hey, give me your money to invest for you, . A thief by any other name is a thief. Old buddy Jesse Jackson son ripped off 750,000 from the people of Illinois and they gave that asshole a choice of which prison & time he's like. Put that one on the God Damn Lawyers who are in my estimation as crooked as the ones they defend. There should be no prejudice in prison, you did a crime, you'll do the time all treated equal in General Pop. I never was that good at math but there isn't a God Dam liberal in this world that will convince me that life terms are cheaper than execution. That more likely is due to flaws in the system. Those convicted of heinous crimes should get a speed pass to the maker.

OK Adam, you got an apology from His Honor, and a standing O to show you that the sins of a few are not condoned by the many. Now play ball!

I remember my old buddy Spiggy Agnew referring to the media as effete snobs. Good old Spiggy, dude had some problems but on the media I think he made the right call. Political Correctness is big with those people.

it's been a helluva year in so cal. TV doc's all got it wrong, with this bs 25th anniversary of Rodney Kings debacle, a druggie, pos, drunk driver 'til the day he died, in jail over and over, yet is a black man's martyr; of what? Lawlessness, no respect for anyone, let alone authority, where all black kids give school reports on Police state abuse, my ass.... of course this topic is encouraged by their teachers, and overall fkd up mentality of most black kids...

A year ago, a drunk walked into a Dollar store on the ghetto side (east) of Hollyweed blvd. In the store the guy pulls out a chef's french knife, waves it around, chases all the customers, & workers outside. While outside on the sidewalk, the guy continues to wave the knife, halting foot traffic. LAPD showed up w/ multiple cars. The knife wielder was met by a hail of bullets. When he was down, the first PD came to his side, kicked his arm and broke it. A long investigation followed, which just concluded. Justifiable death by pd guns, and justifiable kick, to see if he were coherent. Wtf- do people expect, the cop to ask him if he want's an ice cream cone, so if alive he too could of been stabbed....? One big prob, the pd, sherrif deputies, must undergo continuous scrutiny in doing their duties, they are paid to do.....the system is broken already, without costly investigations, which put every soldiers family and life in harms way for the year that follows; while breaking a judicial system thats already comatose...

There's one set of standards for blacks in so cal, another for everyone else, less the illegal hispanics, who get treated better than our own citizens. Free health care even without a green card, yet try getting such if your an american born citizen. this state has gone to hell, human sewage will destroy this nanny hand out state....
