    To be fair, we were on track for a better record and the 2nd seed in the West the following season until Wes ruptured his Achilles on March 5. Can't really blame that one on Neil. He put together a good squad that year, but injuries happen.

    We had just traded for Afflalo 6 games before Wes got hurt, had won 5 straight, and were playing the best defense we had played in Stotts' tenure. Freefall it was not.
