Even though the Yankees won, Biggie is still the team fuck up this evening.

Should be a fun series coming up at Wrigley as they take on the defending champs.

"Physically it's not going to happen" was Girardi's response to CC not being able to cover first
base. Sorry, coach.......that response is not acceptable for a professional ball player. That's giving
CC a pass. What's that saying to your other pitchers?

Yankee pitching has allowed 18 runs to the lowly Blue Jays in 3 games. That's a red flag for any
baseball team. This is the second consecutive CC start that the hitters have bailed out the pitcher.
Yet, manager Girardi is not concerned. I wonder if CC is concerned?

When looking at the Yankees going into the season the starting pitching was an obvious weak spot. Obviously this is a very offensively potent team. Even more so when fully healthy. Simply put we couldn't have the youth movement and everything all fixed at once. The question to me at some point and depending on where the Yankees stand then is whether or not they look to add a veteran starter somehow. Otherwise enjoy the ride. This is much better so far than could've been expected.

not really expecting much of this years team; it's been a thrill watching Judge alone. Tho' it's hard knowing there is no real movement (yet), to address starting pitching, other than hoping Monty, and Seve pan out. Why not try to fix everything in one fell swoop??? In all fairness, less Quintana, SP's hopefully will be more available in a year or two to come. I just hope the youth movement doesn't run out of steam bailing out awkward pitching; hoping for the cavalry of arms to show up...

...like most everyone else, I'm happy with the unexpected start of this team and some of its players...but that's not how ever, gonna stop me from pointing out the things I'm not happy with.

If Bird and Sanchez get back up to speed this team will be flat out dangerous from a hitting standpoint. There is also speed and defense as well. But as we remember those late '90's early ought Cleveland teams with the mashers the pitching could not take them over the top. Even Judge could not hit enough bombs to cover Biggies Candy Ass last night had he stayed in the game. And for 25 million a year you'd best find a way for your fat ass to be covering first. Hint to Joe, at game time your pencil will not be able to spell Subparthia. And as Sanchez returns to the team this Yankee Fans says that Romine did one hell of a sub job and I'm glad to see Higashioka gone.

^^^if Sabathia can't cover 1B I'm surprised that opponents are not bunting to the right side every chance they get.

...at least one of Gardner/Ellsbury/Headley should be traded for a starter at the trade deadline.
