I'm getting a good look at him here tonight. Here are some thoughts that I have on him.-He has an amazing mid range shot-He usually doesn't rely on teammates to set him up. When he gets the ball, he usually puts the ball on the floor and then shoots it. He is good at creating his own shot.-He is a streaky shooter. Sometimes he is on fire, sometimes he is average shooting wise.-As for his defense, he is definately not a pushover. He will sometimes get beat, but he is aggressive defensively, and he will always contest shots. He was getting beat by McGrady, but that was because of the height difference, not his defense. He always contested McGrady's shots, but since McGrady is a good 6-7 inches taller, he just dropped those shots over him.So what are your thoughts on him? I like the guy so far...He's got 8 in the first half today.
After a good somewhat of him today in the Rockets game. He should be a good coming off the bench or can even start over Mo right now. I saw some Portland games and yes sometimes he's on fire and sometimes he's ice cold, but its ok sicne we have many other players who can step up and take the shots. His future right now looks strong. I have to say he's also a better fit on this team then Jones was.
CB32 told us he is a streaky shooter, something I hope he will fix in T Dot, however his defense is above average, but not as good as Parker's. He wasn't really beat my McGrady, he just shot fades over him. Not really his fault. I like his veteran leadership, and he is literally more than ten times better than Jones ever was in T.O and he is contributing in his second game. I like it.
I think Juan Dixon is having more of an impact on the games then did Fred Jones. I think he is a good spark off the bench. Just like Eric Smith and Paul Jones said last night during the Houston game, he did a great job, and the second unit played well.

I was wrong. I definately didnt think he was going to be this good defensively, and he is actually a decent defender too. He plays aggressive defense on guys. Sometimes guys have height advantages of about 3-4 inches on him, so that is the only problem. He is an amazing mid range shooter, and he can dial it up from downtown too. He is good without the ball offensively, and he can create for himself also. The only thing is that he shoots alot, and not only when he has an open shot. When he is cold some nights, it could disrupt the offense in a way. But other days he will have huge 17+ point games.GREAT PICKUP, Bryan. We basically exchanged a guy who sat on the bench all day for another player who will get you 14-15 a game.
