That's all you can really do. Nothing is going to change the game five result so again with the extra day off they need to shake off this terrible loss and get ready for a huge game Tuesday night. I fully expect this series to go to a game seven but it's one game at a time now.

All we can do. I also expect a win in game 6, but I am maybe not as confident as you because I really don't know how this team will respond to AGAIN being gut punched. And Ottawa has to get some momentum out of this as well you'd think. Rangers are favored, but that is a game Ottawa can also win I believe.

But I am hopeful, and then we'll go to game 7 and see if we can actually win a game up there. Very frustrating.

It's this idiotic building which has become the new Montreal for the Rangers. Not to mention Ottawa has gotten every bounce and break in the last two games there. Every deflection has gone in and every bounce has gone their way.

I cannot argue with you and Disturbed on the breaks comments, but you sometimes have to make your own breaks. Despite breaks not always going with you, you are still up two goals 3 times in game 2, including with 3:19 left. And you are still up 2-0 today, and up 4-3 with under 1:30 to go.

So yeah breaks haven't gone our way, but breaks or not we have blown multiple leads, and multiple two goal leads, so I cannot complain that much. We simply have not finished games...sadly. Now we are in a huge hole because of it.

I'll tell you one thing about game 6, I believe I can tell you if we'll win the game after the first 10 minutes or so.

We have scored first in every game. We have played with the lead in every game. If we come out flat because we have a hangover after another gut punch L today, we'll see it early and Ottawa will take it to us.

Ottawa is due to play a better game on the road, and they have extra confidence after today I'm sure. So the start will tell me all I need to know on how game 6 will go I think.

We get off early again and score the first goal and I 100% believe we'll be back in Ottawa for game 7. But if they get off fast and we fall behind early for the first time all series, I think we are in trouble.

When you blow 4 games in the playoffs late with a lead, you don't deserve to advance. I better not see Stepan or Staal in a Rangers uniform next season.

I'd like to see them trade Stepan but if they don't, he can't play center. He has to be moved to wing. Hayes needs to be traded if Step isn't. He coasts and glides into the defensive zone countless times a game, leading directly to goals. He's lazy and always seems disinterested.

    Nobody is taking Stepan's contract.

I wonder if Gorton can work some magic with Vegas. Like deal a 2nd with Stepan or Girardi (if Girardi okays it) and they take the contract. Things like that.

The Girardi buyout is not great for us. I think Gorton does it, but how awesome would it be to not have to eat any cap space?

The goal should be one of Staal or Girardi gone. And I think Stepan should be next on the list. If somehow Gorton can pull off that magic it would be amazing. Might be asking too much though.

Not as concerned with Nash having only one year left, and a huge 7.8 mill in cap space that opens for us next summer.

Hayes, Kreider, Miller and Stepan have really hurt us this post season. All of them have played poorly and made very little impact outside of a moment here and there. I thought yesterday Kreider and Miller were terrible.

Kreider, Miller and Hayes are lower IQ players. And Hayes absolutely appears lazy on the ice. He coasted back on the 2nd Ottawa goal. Very frustrating.

Cannot deal them all, but I do think at least one needs to be moved, and Stepan would be the choice because of his contract. Next I'd say is Hayes.

Look at how Fast, and Grabner and Lindberg have played. Outplayed all 4 of these guys (which is a joke really). And we are going to lose Grabner, or more likely Lindberg to Vegas. Angers me.

Imagine if any of these 4 were playing at a high level.

Even at 7.8 Nash is good to have for one more year as he's good for 25g. You wonder if they might even look to keep him for 2y beyond that if he made 4-5m. Unlikely but he does have familiarity here.

I have zero issue keeping Nash for his last season unless we can get VERY good value for him. And worst case if we struggle he will be a good chip at the trade DL. And to me this isn't a case of we lose him for nothing next summer. Aside from the fact we may resign him for way less money, getting a 7.8 mill open chip against the cap is HUGE. That in itself is big value for us with Nash next summer.

This might be the fucking dumbest thing you've said on this board. Now, I seriously question if you have a brain. So, nobody wants a 50 point, 2 way center who is 26 because he's having a bad playoff when there are countless players in the NHL making 5+ million who suck. Dude. Think before you speak. Also, it was reported several places the Rangers had a deal with the Yotes in place but backed out when the Zibanejad deal was made. I swear. It's amazing how jackasses in our fan base continue to think the players on this team are worth nothing.

Lol you dedicated a thread to him sucking and continuously says he sucks. Now he's a solid center who's just having a bad playoffs because you want to support his bloated salary being traded. As usual you're hypocritical, inconsistent and laughably clueless of your own actions. But yeah it's me and everyone else who's stupid. Not to mention the day you grow up and learn to converse like a normal human being instead of a savage will be a miracle. Name calling. The highest form of intelligence right?
