4-4 bottom of the 17th. Longest game for Sunday Night baseball... 44 K's, most in any MLB game, period... hope this one goes beyond the Yanx 19 inning affair a couple yrs back. Love the mid-am onshore flow fog, and balls hit into its ghost on Waveland ave. KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK - kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
2 more K's, new record- 46 K's...total...5 hrs 54 mins, as the clock keeps running into the 18th, get the janitor and bat boy warming up.... or let's play for breakfast for deep dish Chicago pizza pie...!!!
Yankees up 5-4, heard that crew members of the Carl Vinson on Westpac duty are watching this game, salute you my brothers and sisters defending this nation. I too remember catchings games while in the Far East!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's still early on the west coast, people! Insane! Fell asleep for a couple of hours and the f'king game is still on. And Shreve is pitching......unreal. Hey Tom, enjoying breakfast? Lol
48 Ks in one ballgame! Must be a record! TheeeeeeeeeeeeeYankeees WIN! 5-4!!!!!!!!! And of course, the Yankees next game is later tonight. Ya think they'll be awake for it?
That was served around 7pm.... lol Meeting in morning and working lunch an then back to SFO for the red-eye to Frankfurt. 3 11hr flights in 6days. Disney store in Shanghai was blaring Star Wars imperial March....kid had an NY hat on and I pointed to it and said they are playing your song. He smiled and held up a finger and said Yankees number 1. Fun city.
Castro & Gregorius went 0 for 8 tonight/this morning. Severino, thank you Aroldis Chapman, deserved a victory tonight.
My only question is: Who the hell is going to bail out CC for tonight's game? Girardi will probably leave his sorry 'Cheeseburger' arse out there for all to see.......looks to be a concession game. Take this back. Tanaka goes later tonight........not Mr. Cheeseburger!
This is going to leave a mark. I love the way this team battles. Taking volunteers for bullpen Duty tonight in Cincy, Lil's in, who else, she doesn't want to cook Lasagna! A win it would have been a shame losing after 6+ hours...
another Chapman blown save. I wish we could of had Miller welcome back, ... (weigh in when ya' can on the political OP, on Chinese po views) Hope you didn't get a chinese donut, cake or glazed, fried in fish or oyster sauce...
lmao, classic, where else but China, the kid in the Yanx hat ie.... great pics atop the world in Shanghai, night market, and michelin star pyramid pork belly....wow, kudos to hard work, hope the dumplings were good.... can't wait to hear your take on the Chinese political views, live, fresh from Shanhai...
whadda game, still would rather see Miller any day over the shaky nail biter, wild to often, like he's trying to keep the speed down, over throwing while holding back. Good thing Chapman had a 3 run lead, then gives up 3 earned runs, 3, 3, wtf, 3, from a closer..... come back Mo',.... Miller,.... Guidry.... Dave LaRoche,... wanna' close....
I've long thought, how guys like your father had to of felt cheated in ways; how they must of felt after being cheated out of seeing Sandy Koufax walk on water, Drysdale too, but Koufax was a loved local boy, and that must of hurt. The same how the people of Quebec City felt, after they landed Roy, and 5 great prospects for the Lindros debacle, then immediately moved to Denver and Won the S. Cup, screwed canucks, that one sucked. Or the A's change ownerships, move the Yanx unofficial farm club out of KC, into Charlie'Os Oakland, and go on to infamy within 3 yrs. One reason not many care for the returning lambs, ntm- the other returning homeless step child...(they should of looked for a stadium in Tijuana).
if one told me, this team would sweep the Cubs in Wrigley, first week of May, i'd not believe it.....
...went to bed after Chapman blew the lead...figured we probably lose...nice result towake up to. ...today will also give me the gift of my first Grand Son (Samuel Hendrix _____) ...they'll be inducing labor around 10 AM...beautiful day here today.
...and if someone had told me that we'd have the best record in baseball at this point, I would have pointed at them and giggled.
My Husband found me on the couch this morning with a comforter over my head and as he was leaving for work said "Do you think you can get anything accomplished today???" I just laughed and said maybe. Now I'm stuck making Lasagna and the Pizza I was supposed to make last night.
