...unreal...the Yanx could/should have broken this game open in each of the last 3 innings.

Tough ending but the Yankees had a lot of shots tonight to get runs. Credit to the Astros pitching but too many opportunities missed.

Tough way to end it. You had to take the chance and send Ellsbury there. Can't assume you're going to get another two out hit. The left fielder made a perfect throw and that was that.

King of strike outs, Carter ie, with his <.200 b'avg; .218 lifetime b'avg over 8 years, why did Trashman bring home someone else's garbage???

Game of missed opportunities...........and poor at bats. No discipline at the plate.

^^^they said that's the first time in 30 years since the Yanx had a runner thrown out at HP to end the game.

...I know the Yanx have several guys who can go deep but geez, once you get 2 strike on you with RISP, please just concentrate on making contact.

...Keuchel evidently has a very deceptive slider because the Yanx were suckered by it all night, even though it was seldom over the plate.

What's the old adage? Fool me once.......ok, but fool me twice...... like Carter, Headley, DeGregorius, Sanchez, & Holliday ?????
The only Yankee batter who refused to bite on Keuchel's sinker was Hicks who drew 3 walks......

Note to Cashman.........Why would you add deadwood to a Yankee lineup? ( Carter)
When does Tyler Austin back up Bird? He should be healthy by now.
