Hamidou Diallo seens like such a Raptors pick at 23.

Frank Jackson will probably go between 20 and 25.

Someone unexpected is going to fall to 26. My guess right now is Terrance Ferguson.

I don't even remember him taking that many shots from that distance. I wonder how many were desperation shots. What were his stats in the 12-15 ft range?

Diallo, Mitchell and Patton are guys that have a chance to push Collins down the board.

For instance, I could see Charlotte going Patton and Detroit going for Mitchell, although I find it hard to see either Denver or Miami passing on him unless they think he can't play any 4.

I got the stat from his draft express profile. They show at least 4 threes he took (not late in the shot clock) plus 4 deep jumpers. So that leaves up to 12 shots they don't account for (with 3 of them makes) but I wouldn't say more then 3 (of course just a guess) would be desperation.

It would be nice to find a site that shows the 12-15 range stats though.

I don't see Detroit going for Mitchell. He's basically a smaller KCP.

The good thing about Bell is you know you're getting a player who is going balls to the wall all game. That in itself is nice, especially when we have so many guys who just 'float' around.

That thinking is why MKG was a lottery pick instead of a late 1st/early 2nd like his skill level indicated.

Yeah that pick assumes that SVG views him as a PG, which some teams do based on Mitchell's comments on the feedback he's recieved. And even if they don't, Frank Jackson is an option for them as well.

While I'm here, add Giles to the list of he's cleared based on some reporting.

I could see Jackson being the guy that skyrockets and gets a promise from Detroit. At this point, I don't think Jackson falls past 18. I gauruntee Milwaukee will take him if he's there. They need a PGOFT, and he's perfect for them. Jackson could also go 14th or 16th to MIA or CHI.

In the end, I think Mitchell lands at 16 with Chicago.

Not only a lottery pick but 2nd overall!

That thinking was the reason why Thomas Robinson and MKG were top 5 picks in that draft over guys like Damian Lillard, Harrison Barnes, and Andre Drummond. Andre Drummond was described as a guy who floated around and didn't have much of a motor and look at him now.

Skill and measurables trumps extra effort.

I think that any team drafting Bell in the 1st would be making a mistake. There's too many good prospects with skills and size that will be available even at 30. Motley is a perfect example of someone who is deserving to be picked at the end of the 1st. 6'9 with a 7'4 wingspan, offensive skills, and decent defense.

The only thing Bell has over him is his motor and defensive timing. Everything else favors Motley.

Rabb is another guy who I view as undersized and underskilled. Rabb should be a 2nd round pick as well. I have as much of a hate for small PFs with no skills as you do for WABCs. They don't translate well.

Ew. Thornwell looked like absolute shit in the scrimmages.

It's interesting that the first 3 workouts we schedule are 3 guys with 2nd round talent.

We'll have to disagree on what's most important in a late first or second round pick

I think Rabb maybe late 1st the other 2 are 2nd round picks right now. Ferguson I really don't know much of but late 1st properly my guess.
