The Pistons are in Miami tonight, looking to make it 5 straight. And the good thing is that theres no Wade to go along with a steadily improving Shaq.Tonight will also be big because we get to test CWebb against Shaq. and hopefully, Nazr will be able to get some time tonight to see how much we could use him in a playoff situation against him.Hopefully, we can hold off their role players while ours get the job done. we need to stop all of their guys. Here are the Matchups(most likely to play)G: Jason Williams, Gary Payton -vs- Billups, HunterSG: Eddie Jones, James Posey -vs- Rip Hamilton, DelfinoSF: Antoine Walker, Jason Kapono(got 8 dimes the other night vs WAS) -vs- Tayshaun, JMaxPF: Udonis Haslem -vs- Sheed, DyessC: Shaq, Zo -vs- CWebbif you look at the Star Power in the names for the Heat like Payton, Jones, Walker, and Zo, then they have the advantage. But the Pistons are way to hot right now to let this one slip away with a 55% Shaq playing.
There is no star power in Miami right now. Eddie Jones is washed up. Payton cannot do what he used to. Zo still has energy, but he plays much less than before. Walker is having one of his worst seasons ever, when the team needs him most. Shaq is a role player now, not a star.Pistons have the star power.
ouch, I guess I better eat my words concerning shaq, he really dominated us to end the streak. we made a run to come back after being down by 20, but we still lost.we did however come back the next night and beat the Grizz by 3.
Yeah Friday's game reminded me a lot of 04/05 when they would play half assed the first half get down big and then try and pull it out all the stops in the 4th quarter only to lose by 1-2 points. I admint Snaq was amazing Friday night and the 4th quarter was exciting. It would have been nice to win though.
