No, that's no what I'm talking about. There can't be collusion between Trump and his staff. There can be collusion between Trump and Russia or Trump's staff and Russia. Trump saying there was no collusion between him and his staff is 100% true.
Actually that could make things much more difficult for him. Giving him a pardon now would be similar to him having the immunity he wanted. But that means he could no longer take the 5th and would have to testify when subpoenaed. If he were to lie under oath or even give incomplete answers he would face new charges that the pardon didn't cover. Sure, Trump could give him a 2nd pardon but then that would pretty much mean we're in full on coverup.
