Hot dog manufacturer John Morrell and Co. has recalled more than 200,000 pounds of its beef franks because they may contain bits of metal.

The Ohio-based company on Friday recalled about 210,606 pounds of Nathan's skinless & beef franks and Curtis beef master beef franks, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The hot dogs were produced on January 26 and were shipped to retailers across the country. The Nathan's brand affected is a 14-ounce sealed package with a use-by date of Aug. 19, 2017. The Curtis brand is in a 16-ounce package with a use-by date of June 15, 2017.
