Reason? If Indy can steal the fifth seed, and the Raptors keep playing .500 ball for the rest of the year, you can count on these two teams meeting in the first round. Who is better right now? Chris Bosh or Jermaine O'Neal.

Re: Chris Bosh vs. Jermaine O'neal

I still think that it is pretty close. Bosh has a better mid range game, and JO is better around the basket with his footwork and post moves, Bosh is more athletic and can get up and down the floor better, both are "about" the same rebounding, but if I had to give it to one of them, I would probably go with Bosh, and then O'Neal is a better defender. If I had to pick who I would rather have on my team this year, I would go with Bosh. He is doing great things with Toronto this year...

I just like Chris Bosh's attitude more. When things get bad Jermaine O'Neal doesn't rise to the challenge. Bosh has really stepped up this season...it's close but O'Neal is great around the basket...if I had one guy this year, I'd take Bosh, the guy just gets it.

Re: Chris Bosh vs. Jermaine O'neal

This is a pretty easy choice for me. Chris Bosh. Jermaine might be the better defensive player, and he made have more refined post skills. But Bosh is easily the better player on the offensive end. He's got a quicker first step, he is a deadly mid range shooter for a big, and he can also score inside..He is much more versatile offensively, and he can score in many more ways. Hell, he can even hit a three this year, if he is open.....His defense is getting better, and he is NOT a bad defensive player anymore. Chris is more athletic also, and he is probably the better rebounder. Chris will get you 23 and 10 every game. And oh yeah, the Raps are better than the Pacers.

Right now I believe JO is still the more talented player but I would take Bosh because O'neal has a history of not being able to stay healthy/out of trouble.

I beg to differ....Bosh is much more talented on the offensive end. He scores all these points as a big man, and he still doesn't even have a polished post game yet. That's called talent.

Re: Chris Bosh vs. Jermaine O'neal

I'll take Bosh even though people will say I'm biased. I think O'Neal's better with his back to the basket and better as a man to man defender, but other than that he's inferior to Bosh right now. Bosh is a tough cover because he can hit the face up J, he can blow by you and he's a good passer for a player of his size. O'Neal's been shut down many times by taller defenders who can lean on him and make it tough for him to post up. If he's shooting 15 foot jumpers he's ineffective. O'Neal has the experience edge, but I think that's an overrated factor. I'll take Bosh. He's got more tools, the better all around game and the potential to be even better whereas O'Neal has peaked.

Right now, I'd choose bosh. But, a few years ago I'd take O'neal

Re: Chris Bosh vs. Jermaine O'neal

Well in JO's early years he wasn't a big impact as Bosh is now in I think his 4th season right now? This year is Bosh's best season as a Raptor. If VC wasn't traded Bosh wouldn't be who he is today taking the leadership role for the Raptors. Bosh is quicker, and a better shooter and he has more range as well. JO's advantage over Bosh is that he's bigger a better defender and is better at crashing the boards. But overall it has to be Bosh, for what he's doing right now.

I'm a Pacers fan but I'd take Bosh any day. The only thing JO has right now over him is shot blocking and post moves. But Bosh is working on both and still scores more points than JO despite having less post moves.

Re: Chris Bosh vs. Jermaine O'neal

O'Neal has made this comparison very obvious with how poor his team has been doing as of late. He is the leader of the team, and even though his personal stats arent that bad, when you are the leader, you need to step up and lead your team to victory. His supporting cast isnt THAT terrible, and for them to lose as many games in a row in the eastern conference is pretty ridiculous. Also, Bosh has been playing great all season. His mid range game is working wonders, he is freakishly athletic, and his shot blocking has gotten better. And Pacersfan hit it right on the head. The only things that JO do better are shot blocking and his variety of post moves.

Chris Bosh I would have to choose. Chris Bosh is a awesome player. He is only 22 years old. Jermaine is a much older player. Chris Bosh can hit the three's, take it to the rack, post up, rebound play defense. Jermaine O"Neal is older and he doesn't play as good as Bosh does. Chris Bosh is my choice over Jermaine O'Neal
